1  Re: Love of Stuffies Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by amurzxim on: May 23, 2009 12:17:12 PM
this swap has been admitably hard for me because i went through an emotionally difficult operation for me last minute, but I'm just now posting some shots of me and Paco the hedgehog from Queenninjamonkey:

Me and Paco cuddlin', i love him so much!!

I wrap Paco up in his blanket like a diaper sometimes because I think it looks cute  Tongue

Thank you so much for making me my new favorite inatimate friend Queenninjamonkey, I love him very much, you should have seen my face when i opened the package! I apologize for my tardiness  Embarrassed.
I love all the other stuffies on here, theyres so impressive and luffable Cheesy!

I received my swap in the mail today Cheesy Just as I was getting worried and coming up with things that could have happened to it in the post it was on my door step, safe from the rain. I am soooo thrilled with the goodies I received from stargardener, I feel like I should send her more stuff  Shocked
Here's all the stuff!:
first are some extras, floss bobbins (how did you know that I needed those !?!), tracing paper (I've had a love affair with this stuff for some time now, I needed to stock up), some cute heart cherries  Smiley and a card made of bee stickers!

this beautiful pillow! star gardener claims shes only mediocre at satin stitch but I think it looks amazing!

the amazing bee Cheesy i love bees

I love the fabric

It's taken up residence on my bed  Kiss my mom wanted to steal it for the house but i said nooooo, she can get her own awesome swap partner to make her a lovely pillow  Tongue she is jealous and so are youuuu >:3

She made me two cute little key rings, but my boyfriend took the other one before i could take a picture, it was a cute little buggy, but I think this one is hilarious Wink

here it is with veteran hamburger key chain showing it the ropes
it says bee-och, by boyfriend didnt get it and thought it said bee-ooh hehheh

and this really is my favorite, stargardener, it means so much to me and I'm touched that you took the time to look up the NEDA logo Cheesy

a beautiful bracelet with a bunch of different stitches and the NEDA logo to remind me of my recovery!

thankyou stargardener, I love my package so much, it was the perfect thing for a rainy day and I had a big ol' smile on my face all afternoon! You're the best!

5  RNDM goings on: pin cushion and lapdesk in Completed Projects by amurzxim on: February 22, 2009 03:44:12 PM
I'm SUPPOSED to be working on a twelve page research paper, 6 pages of which i have completed but I just keep getting sucked back into craftster.

I made this simple lap desk that I love. It could have been executed better, but the print is so cute and Ive been wanting one for ages.

Its basically just an old canvas that was discarded at school covered with sock monkey fabric, I made a square pillow slightly smaller than the board and hot glued it to the bottom, it works great!

and I made a little pin cushion because I really needed one out of an old container that used to hold coty airspun face powder.
with this:

fabric I got out of the free box at the legacy (a little fabric shop in my town that gets a bunch of donations and puts the smaller scraps in the free box, which I pilfer often hehe, I buy from them too! I do!)

the cute top I use for bobby pins  Wink

Sorry about the image quality, the only camera I have is the webcam on my computer  Embarrassed

6  Another cycling hat! - fleece and valentines day anger in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by amurzxim on: February 15, 2009 01:15:11 PM
There seems to be a bunch of cycling hats kicking around craftster and my boyfriend is a hardcore cyclist. Soooo for valentines I made him a one out of fleece to combat the rain and cold Shocked. AND it's the tour de california this weekend and since I live in wine country the race goes through my town Smiley.

Here I am modeling it.

I have model it because he doesn't like it because its not green. I know. How was I supposed to know.
Needless to say I was/am really upset with him.

I really love things that have buttons on them. Many many buttons. My aunt left this big ol sweatshirt at my house and then promptly moved south and told me to keep it, since I'm little and it didn't fit me I did a little bit-a cut n sew
