1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Chair Reupholstry on: August 23, 2009 10:34:16 AM
Thank y'all :-)

It is definitely MUCH more comfortable than it was at first! It originally had hardly any cushion at all. It was a sad little chair.

Hello :-)I got this chair at an estate sale for $10:

Then, I got some way-to-expensive fabric to cover the chair and added some extra cushion. Now, I have this:

It is my first time to reupholster anything, but I think it turned out really great :-)

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Would you knit this? (or wear it ?) on: August 24, 2008 09:27:04 PM
Yeah, I love this a lot.

I'm 20.

I also really like CAPPUCCIO, but I'm not so sure that I would ever wear it.
Anyone know of a pattern similar to that one?

I can't wait to see what you've done alyssab!
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Right Side / Wrong Side? on: July 13, 2008 11:21:32 AM
Thank you guys.

I was thinking I should be able to tell from the cast on tail, but I thought about it for too long and confused myself haha. . . Sad, I know.   Smiley

Thanks again.

I'm working on Interweave's Minimalist Cardigan.

You start off 2x1 rib for an inch and a half, then you moss stitch. . .foreverrrrrr.

After 13 inches it says to end with a WS row, then BO 5 sts at the beginning of the next 2 rows.

How do I tell which side is the wrong side?

I searched this, and a lot of people have said to go with the side that has the least mistakes as being the RS, but what if neither side has and apparent mistakes? (OCD!)

Thank you Smiley

Awesome Smiley

Do you know how much the Lily Chin Signature Collection (Park Avenue) usually runs?

I'm using kind of cheap yarn, but if it turns out good I may want to make another!

Would anyone like to knit this with me?
I started it today - it's my first sweater!
