I received from crosswind today.  Are your wisting fingers ready?

A PURPLE PEACOCK needlebook!!!!!

Look at the incredible stitching - so gorgeous!

The last page of the needlebook even has a little pocket in it...I am going to put some of my stitch markers in it.

And an adorable little pincushion is attached to the ring as well.

I am SO spoiled!  Thank you so very much crosswind!  I absolutely love it, and you have made me so very happy.

Squee!!  I received today from gossamer_gull and naggie_maggie.

Thank you both SO much!!!  I love them!

The first one, from gossamer_gull is a beautifully hand-drawn bookmark on the most gorgeous paper I've ever seen.  I absolutely love ATCs and this is like an ultimate ATC, if you ask me.  So so so gorgeous!!  (I cannot draw to save my life and I do so admire those who can!)

The second one, from naggie_maggie represents the 4 elements - as you can see, each square has the symbol for that element and a coordinating color.  The tag on the end of the marker says "Earth Air Fire Water" in really cool script.

Thanks again ladies - you made my day!

I received from franaroon today!  I love love love my new bookmark.  Thank you so much franaroon!!!

Here are some average pictures of a really beautiful bookmark.  Grin

It is made of some really gorgeous fabric, and the black dots are magnets - so the bookmark folds over the page and the magnets hold it on.

Thank you franaroon!  You rock!

85  Re: Secret Santas revealed! 2008 Secret Santa Swap gallery in The Swap Gallery by spotnik on: January 05, 2009 05:49:30 PM
Well, I am totally bummed.   Sad  Apparently Patriae isn't going to post pictures of the stuff I sent her.

I did not get pics of the first package I sent - I made her the prescription for a happy life bracelet off of her wist.  Of course it is not an exact replica, but I hope she liked it.

I also sent an "Amigurumi Bento Box" - an amigurumi starter kit.  (The box itself is an old shoebox that I couldn't bring myself to throw away because of the cute panda bear on it - I thought it was perfect for this project.)  I did get some pics of that (after wrapping most of the items, of course   Undecided - here they are.

The box included everything to make some amigurumi - three skeins of my favorite yarn for amis, a "F" crochet hook, some safety eyes, some polyfill, yarn needle & tapestry needle, a little notebook with some of my favorite patterns, a project bag, and handmade stitch markers.

I am really really sad that Patriae hasn't bothered to take pics - I really wanted to share the images with all of you.   Cry

87  Reused Christmas Bulbs = Reindeer in Winter Holidays by spotnik on: December 21, 2008 10:48:47 AM
I was sitting looking at a box of old Christmas bulbs (everyone in my family is a packrat - we rarely throw anything away).  What to do with these old bulbs??

*ding*  Lightbulb comes on  Roll Eyes Grin Cheesy

These look like reindeer heads!

So, add some googly eyes, little pom poms, ribbon and chenille stems - apply hot glue - and there you go!

88  Agatha Christie-inspired hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by spotnik on: December 21, 2008 10:42:44 AM
I was at Michael's the other day, and found some really cute ribbon in the bargain bin.   Had to buy it.  Then the question arose as to what do do with said ribbon.  After pawing through my stash, I found some really pretty green Wool-Ease yarn.  Add an H hook and a button, and ta-da!

And I just realized that you can see all of my craft stuff piled up next to my computer monitor...I guess I should clean that up.   Cheesy

Wow wow wow!  Pinkleo really spoiled me!!

Check it out!

The tin itself is beautiful - I love it!  And it was stuffed with great things!

The little note says:

May your new year be charming.
May it be full of luck and creativity
And when you ring in your new year,
may it be marked with love.

And the goodies are as follows -

A charm bracelet
A shamrock necklace
Some really pretty purple glass seed beads
A bookmark with a bell and a heart that says love on it (with gorgeous blue beads).

I feel so spoiled and special!!!!  Thank you so much pinkleo - you're great!

I received a package today!!  From Mandylikespie.  And I have to say, Mandy is made of awesome!!!

My DH could not figure out what all the squealing (squee'ing?) was about.  Even after I showed him the cool stuff Mandy sent.  (He said "What's this?" and gave me a quizzical look when I said a stuffed cookie!)

So, without further ado, here is the fantabulous package from Mandy:

Thank you so very much Mandy - you ROCK!!!!
