61  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Portrait of the kiddos on: January 18, 2009 10:43:44 AM
Ok I can't take credit for the drawing but I did do the framing! A friend of mine is an artist who really enjoys doing portraits. I asked her to do one of my kidss for FIL for Christmas. We traded her time drawing for a HUGE crockpot of chili. I think it was a wonderful trade for all involved. I'm just so happy with how it turned out that I have to share it with all of you. When we asked DS who was in the pic he said my sister and her brother!

62  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Gift for nephew on: January 18, 2009 10:15:06 AM
Since I find it hard to pick out toys for infants I decided to make something for nephew this year for Christmas. So a surfing I went untill I found something that caught my eye. Well I found this cube tut and thought well that looks great. I would post a link to the tut but it's on my other computer so I'll have to post it later to give credit. Once I got going on it, seemed that it was going to take forever. Well I was kinda right. Just felt like forever with all the short seams getting the squares togethere. So here's the cube which he seemed to like. Hard to tell with LO's sometimes! As you can see it's a little larger then I was going for. Oh well it still looks good!

63  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Christmas gift for MIL: Handmade pajamas with Coca-cola fabric on: January 18, 2009 10:07:23 AM
I found the Coke fabric at the thrift store back in the summer and knew I had to bring it home to make something for MIL. Took me a while to fine the pattern I wanted to use. I only had enough of the Coke for the top so I found a lovely matching green for the bottoms and applicaed (sp) some of the Coke pis on to the pants. She just loved them and finds the fit to be great. They are now her fave jammies

64  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / NB fluff 'o' rama the sequel! (pic heavy) on: October 21, 2008 04:54:06 PM
So here's the last of the NB dipes I made for my friend.

Here they are all lined up nice and pretty.

Then it was off to play!

They tried to use DH as a jungle gym. Dosen't he look happy about it!

Then Pooh and Crackers decided to take off.

Crackers decided to try on a toddler.

Pooh found the snap press and tried to become a gymnast.

The covers are also a wild bunch. There they go riding off into the sunset.

66  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Strawberry Shortcake dress and bag on: June 25, 2008 12:31:58 PM
My friends DD has her 6th birthday next week. She loves Strawberry Shortcake so I made this dress and bag for her. I'm not 100% happy with the bag. I was making it up as I went a long, so overall it's ok. I've shown it to my friend and she just loves it. So I'm sure her DD will as well.
