11  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Calling all those who have worked with Resin on: March 30, 2005 06:42:44 AM
What is the damn trick for getting a nice clear smooth result. I know not to stir to quickly/hard to avoid bubbles, BUT I keep getting like a cloudy look to it.

What am I doing wrong?

12  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / HELP...faux brick panelling on: March 17, 2005 01:53:24 PM
I love the look of exposed brick indoors.
Haveing said that I'm looking for fake brick panels that I can afix to one of my living room walls. Has anyone ever seen such a thing ever? I've checked some online sites & they are mucho expensive.

I actually saw something done on Changing Rooms, (the orginal Trading Spaces only on BBC America) they call it Vac-Form brick. I think it was basiclly a plastic mold like panelling.

I don't know what else to tell you, any help would be greatly appricated.

Thanks!

I assume that if I delete a picture hosted by Craftster that is currently being displayed in a post, it will delete it from the post as well, yes?

My account won't allow me to upload anymore pics  Undecided

Thanks!
14  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / My latest Sublime Stitching project (picture heavy) on: January 27, 2005 07:32:16 AM

Each of these guys are on the curtains in my kitchen.
We have a larger size window that faces the street that I didn't want to cover completely. So I decided on a cafe' curtain, only problem was I couldn't find any thing I liked (ie: simple) so I bought a 4 pack of tea towels and hung them with clips from one of those spring loaded rods. I'll post a picture of the whole sha-bang soon.

I hope you like them. (Mr. Carrot has a gold tooth  Grin)

17  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Is it true...? on: June 21, 2004 11:37:49 AM
Sorry. I posted in the wrong place before.

I am BRAND spankin new to knitting. I fact I really don't know what I'm doing at all. All I know is the knit stitch itself and I kinda know the purl stitch. I also know through practice that the purl stitch comes out much smoother. My question for all you superknitters out there is this, I heard that on an item that is all purl stitched ( a scarf for example) will curl up at the ends. Is this true? Huh
