21  My latest Sublime Stitching project (picture heavy) in Sublime Stitching Embroidery by Rylizbeth on: January 27, 2005 07:32:16 AM

Each of these guys are on the curtains in my kitchen.
We have a larger size window that faces the street that I didn't want to cover completely. So I decided on a cafe' curtain, only problem was I couldn't find any thing I liked (ie: simple) so I bought a 4 pack of tea towels and hung them with clips from one of those spring loaded rods. I'll post a picture of the whole sha-bang soon.

I hope you like them. (Mr. Carrot has a gold tooth  Grin)

Some glasses I did.

I did these a while back & gave them as a Christmas gift with a cheap bottle of wine at my office gift exchange. I guess she liked them b/c the same girl asked for another set for her to give as a gift...I need to do more.

I thought I'd show off a recent glass-etching project, since I learned about the technique here at Craftster!  I made a set of "burn, baby, burn!" tea lights:

I made the flame borders using sticky vinyl, by hand-drawing the design and then cutting it out with an Exacto knife.  Time consuming!  I'd like to find some way to reuse stencils for etching - has anyone tried cling vinyl instead of the sticky kind (which seems to lose its stickiness after one application)?

These are fabulous!
