Thanks for your kind words I really appreciate them all! I just took the pattern that paperandglue had posted and then just added a different colour for the straps and for a few rows of the main body of one of the slippers.
Here is a link to the pattern:

 Hey guys,

Here they are, the slippers that would not have existed if it was not for the instructions posted by paperandglue. As you can see I ran out of green yarn but I think the brown looks ok too. Comments appreciated.

Thanks for looking!

5  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / Quilt Project on: May 17, 2008 03:07:26 PM

Hey there,

I am planning on starting a quilt project with the women incarcerated at the local prison where I volunteer to give them skills to take with them once they are released. All my work up to this point has been on clothing, knitting and other small gifts. If anybody has any ideas on how to get such a big community project like this going or any idea on quilting, I would love for you to share those ideas with me.

10  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / DIY Shampoo with no sulfates on: April 19, 2008 01:51:23 PM
  Hey guys,
I made my first batch of shampoo today and wondered if many other people are doing this?
I used a base and then added dried flowers, essential oils that are particularly good for my hair colour. Its an all natural alternative that doesn't leave nasty sulfates in your hair!

Does anyone know how to make a shampoo base from basic ingredients?
