1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: "The time has come," the walrus said, "to talk of many things..." on: February 13, 2009 01:49:27 AM
ok, so for some reason i was never a big fan of alice in wonderland (though my sister did a great alice themed performance recently and i enjoyed it, and i am excited about tim burton's version) BUT! i am in love with M. C. Escher~ and his distorted images and optical illusions always remind me a bit of alice. Also, i have long wanted to decorate my 80gallon aquarium with a chess theme, so i have chess and M. C. Escher-esque links that i hope are an inspiration to you!

this might make your walk down the aisle, but its still awesome, or it would be a great ribbon pattern

these are awesome!

If i were trying to make that i would make a wooden base, and put at least one egg-crate bed thingy in it. then for the legs i would use pool noodles. it would be pretty easy to make pillow-case-like casings for them and then leave the bottom edge long to sew them all together to the egg-crate
