Creepy cool!
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Car themed school organizer on: September 09, 2009 08:42:16 AM

We have to buy and use the school mandated organizer/date planner with a picture of the high school on the front.  The personalize it, I put on various car stickers and think it looks much better.

Griff is adorable and I love the story that goes with it.  The egg goes perfect with him.

Very clever and creative!
5  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Zombie Dog! Neon Photo from digital photo using phot software on: March 04, 2009 06:53:52 AM

This was made with the free software at www.picnik.com.   I think it makes my dog look like zombie.

This is the original photo:

First it was edited cropped to a square, then used the create tab, then neon then made it green, then added a border and made the border neon green.

Great way to upcycle and by adding the embellishment you have come up with your own personalized trademark.

Very original - have seen a lot of things make out of pop tabs, but never a gift box.  It is cute.

All of the wrappings are from recycled items except the glue stick and tape that I used to secure the decorations and wrap the gifts.

My Mom called this "Salivdor Dali meets Andy Warhol" - it is hodge podge of cutout for a magazine; it is on an old padded envelope with the UPC side up to show our numbered society. Nicole Kidman's hair, some Gen X bearded dude's face with my hand imprint for antlers.

Here are some presents wrapped in magazine pages (one of my Mom's old "Ready Made" magazines) with MOM lettered on the front:

And here is my "I'm Bringing Sexy Back" Risque Reindeer made out of a paper grocery bag and magazine pages:

Here is the How-To Link that I posted on Cut & Keep:

Thanks for looking.

10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: My new bag for the gym on: December 23, 2008 10:36:39 AM
It looks great.   I plan on making a large bag before this summer and will keep in mind the tutorial you used and using two layers of heavy interfacing.

Thanks for sharing this!
