Ok, now for my package from TracyinNH.

I have magazine art on my wists, I just think it looks cool, and I LOVE hedgehogs, so TracyinNH combined the two in to this amazing picture...

Heres as good of a closeup as I could get... You can see the pictures and print.

Check out this totebag! One of my fave color combos is pink orange and yellow. Tracy was excited to make something using orange since so many craftsters put orange as their least favorite color! Its such a good sized totebag, and super pretty!

She also included a little extra. She sent me two headbands... which are absolutely perfect! If I wasnt having such a bad hair day Id show you how awesome they are!

Here is everything...

The books were The Sphere by Michael Crichton, and One for the Money by Janet Evanovich!

Thank you so much Tracy!

This has been such an amazing swap. I hope everyone is as pleased as I am!  Grin

Ok... First up, my package from Megzy...

A wooden book painted in my favorite colors!

Some pretty bookmarks. They have little tabs in the middle.

Some adorable perler bead froggies!

A perler bead yoshie! How cool is he!!!

Two ribbon/button bookmarks in my fave colors, these are super cute!

Wait til you see this....

Whats all that in the box?

They are tiny origami (lucky) stars!!!

I have no idea how many there are... but there sure is a lot!!!

Here everything...

The pile of stars is about two inches high to give you an idea of how many there are!
The books were Promise Not to Tell by Jennifer McMahon, and Practical Demonkeeping by Christopher Moore

Thanks so much Megzy, everything was wonderful!

Im going to put my other package in a new post since they were both so great they deserve their own post.

Ill be doing a tree, birds, owl, coffee, and a cupcake for my five boxes.

For the bubble magnets Ill be using 0.5 inch glass bubbles, and 1 inch glass bubbles. The typical ones you see around craftster are the 0.5 inch ones.

Here is an example of a pacman ghost magnet..

Ok. Im sending my questionnaire in. Im going to make five boxes, and five sets of glass magnets. If you get magnets you can pick between glass bubble magnets or perler bead magnets.

The glass bubble magnets will be made with various scrap book paper, hand drawn art, magazine pages, and vintage wall paper.

Perler beads are the little beads you put on a pegboard and iron until they melt. The perler bead magnets can either be pac man, mrs pacman and ghosts, a set of tetris pieces for your fridge, or various foods.

The boxes will be various images. Here is one I made for a previous swap:

Sorry Im so late with my pictures! I cant find my camera so these pics are from my phone. Thank goodness everyone else too such good pics. My charms are still loose. I had them on a bracelet with some other beads, but it just looked too busy/messy. So Im still hunting for a better option.

Top (L-R) Smmarrt, Smmarrt, spotnik, franaroon

9  Re: Sweat Shoppe Swap Round 17 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by goosegg1001 on: March 02, 2009 02:49:05 PM
Im finally posting pictures, I have a feeling my last item isnt going to show up.  Huh

GatorWrangler sent two photography necklaces (How cool!)

Both are pictures she took. One is a waterfall, the other is a cabybara, which I think is a hilarious animal.

TheSapphireMoon sent a super snazzy snap wallet and a bracelet (what a lovely suprise!)

The wallet is so nice because I hate having a big wallet (probably because I like small purses) and with this I can just throw my debit card, liscense and money in!

The bracelet is gorgeous. Its in my favorite colors, lime green and pink, with little butterflies.

guineverefree sent a broomstick lace scarf (gorgeous!)

The scarf is great. Its so wonderfully crafted! And we just got 6 inches on snow last night!  Grin

kaymadben sent 4 squared coasters (Love the fabric!)

All the coasters are the same on the front, I just wanted to show the pretty backs too!

baa-me-chick sent fabric coasters (pretty print!)

They make me hungry! haha.

fusbdgt sent a soothing satchel (Smells great!)

I love the fabric, and the smell!

cyndiq sent a crochet panta, heart pendant, and an extra necklace.

I tried to take a picture with the panta on, but Im having one of those "dont take pictures of me!" days. Cyndiq also sent some yummy Australian goodies! And the extra necklace is because she asked that I send an extra skein of yarn. I love everything! Even the packaging was pretty with dozens of Australian stamps.

susief00 sent a crochet cupcake pincushion (My favorite flavor! haha)

I love yellow cake with chocolate frosting... AND sprinkles! Its perfect!

Thanks everyone, for everything. I cannot wait til next round!  Grin

10  Re: Shape, Color and Texture R3 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by goosegg1001 on: March 02, 2009 01:02:34 PM
I received from Nikimac last week but my computer fought me on uploading the pictures, I finally came up with the brilliant idea to try a different computer haha...

Color: Lime Green

Nikimac painted a box lime green and then added hot pink (My favorite color combo!) greek letters of my sorority! (Good stalking!)

Shape: Asterik

Nikimac made me a pendant out of wire, and I believe some type of resin? Its super cool!

Texture: Soft

Nikimac made me a luggage tag with a soft adorable hedgehog on it!

Thanks Nikimac for swapping with me!
