4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / new crop on: June 11, 2009 08:14:47 PM
i've just started hawking my wares at the local farmer's market.
here's a sample of what i've been doing.
it's pretty much stuff i've collected, disassembled and reassembled in a new form.
vintage buttons, pretty beads, wire wrapped beads..etc..

fingers crossed that this summer will be a lucrative foray into the craft world.
thanks for looking.

6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / 'no sew' cozy fleece blanket..new photos.. on: November 28, 2008 08:05:59 PM
my friend told me about this blanket.
it's basically 2 pieces of fleece, knotted together.
it took me 2 hours start to finish...and it was pretty much the easiest thing i've ever done.
seriously, the hardest part was picking coordinating fabrics.

voila, a blanket....

here's the pirate one!!
(i tried to take it without the kitty, but she loves it so much..)

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / wire + beads= rings on: October 21, 2008 04:59:00 PM
my first attempt at making wire and bead rings.
33 of them to be exact!

i got a little carried away, i guess.
they're fun and fast to make.
i don't have an accurate sizing device.
what do you use to size your rings? does anyone know where to get a reliable ring sizer (without being too spendy)?

comments/suggestions/criticisms are welcomed.
