here's what i made for my dad.
he loved it!


 

i was short on funds for this yuletide season. instead of getting depressed about it, i armed myself with glitter, canvases, random objects and a glue gun. this is what i came up with.

i home my friends and family looove this stuff as much as i do..

i've just started hawking my wares at the local farmer's market.
here's a sample of what i've been doing.
it's pretty much stuff i've collected, disassembled and reassembled in a new form.
vintage buttons, pretty beads, wire wrapped beads..etc..









fingers crossed that this summer will be a lucrative foray into the craft world.

i made this  pillow for my grandma. it took about 1.5 football games yesterday!
added some orange scented potpourri inside too.

those are great!
i made a few for some friends and embroidered a severed unicorn head on them!
they're fab!
should have kept one for myself..

here's one without the inner lining..

my friend told me about this blanket.
it's basically 2 pieces of fleece, knotted together.
it took me 2 hours start to finish...and it was pretty much the easiest thing i've ever done.
seriously, the hardest part was picking coordinating fabrics.

here's some brooches i made.
bows, felt balls, beads and semi-precious stones (quartz and garnet) i also made an army man one, but gave it to a friend before i could snap a photo.

my first attempt at making wire and bead rings.
33 of them to be exact!









i got a little carried away, i guess.
they're fun and fast to make.
 i don't have an accurate sizing device.
what do you use to size your rings? does anyone know where to get a reliable ring sizer (without being too spendy)?
