Ev, your Guinea pig is soo cute!!! And is that SKULL soap??? So awesome.

When I uploaded my recent pictures, I saw that I never posted my birthday presents!!  Shocked I'm so sorry, guys! This whole time I thought I had.  Roll Eyes

First, here's kat's package! Yeay!!

She sent some red glittery stationary that has my name and a cupcake, a stamp that says This Book Belongs to [me], AWESOME cards from her shop (the bang bang! cards and the feets), a cuuuute clutch with vegitable print and a big red lip button, which I use for my healthy literature holder, some stitchmarkers, that record cover notebook which I use to jot down ideas and notes, and a nice You're a Peach note! Thank you so much, kat!!  Cheesy

Now, my amazing swap angel Poppysmum package!!

A big polar bear card that has a poem, a lovely note!, a couple of bird and hello kitty postcards, Rabichan and Hamchan stickers (they're eating little desserts!!), very pretty Japanese stationary, five rock pushpins with little painted ladybugs, and a BREATHTAKING little journal she made me from recycled materials!!

Close up of journal and bug magnets:

Thank you so so much, Kat, Bex, and Stina!! You are the reason my birthday was beauiful!!

3  Re: Unconditional Swapper Swap - OCTOBER (gallery) in The Swap Gallery by The Meow Wont Purr on: November 04, 2005 06:42:07 AM
I'm a pokey picture puppy, so this picture is about a week late. Sad
Last week two of my swap partners said that I should have recieved their items, but I never did! I figured out that the problem was my sister picking up the mail and 'forgeting' to let me know I had something.  Angry It was sort of like Christmas, though, because I got lots of goodies, some I had even forgotten about.
And so, here we go!!
Lexis answered for my 'typewriter stuff' request.

She sent me an awesome typewriter wallet, a pretty felt typewriter pin (which I LOVE, by the way) and these awesome quotes on cards that I hope you can see. She decorated each one differently!! I love it so much!! Thank you!!
This was my second package, but I couldnt figure out who it was from? I looked at the package but I didn't see a name, can anyone help me? They sent me these TERRIFIC postcards! Two aren't pictured because I already used them, but they had leaves and fall time colors.

They're so cute!! Thank you very much, stranger, please let me know who you are so I can really thank you. The postmark says this was recieved an awfully long time ago and I feel bad that you were never contacted!!

I recieved my package from Stina the other day!!
Let's see if I can describe everything she sent, since its A LOT:

Hello Kitty knit stuffy, two birthday card notes, printed heart patch, green button, a little round crochet pin with little beads, a C pin, a turtle magnet, a horse in a bikini? keychain, melting-bead-things bat magnet, four little yellow hair clips, a crochet wrist cuff, a cd from her old distro, and a zine.
Thank you!!!

6  Re: Favorite Song/Band T-shirt or tote swap in The Swap Gallery by The Meow Wont Purr on: October 02, 2005 09:10:06 PM
I recieved today (somehow on Sunday) from Annim!!
The song she picked from my list was "The Happy Birthday Song" by Andrew Bird. If you'd like to hear it, go here. I think it will be up for two weeks.

The fabric is so pretty, and she did such an AWESOME job on the embroidery. I dont know what kind of stitch that is but it kind of looks like a little rope. If feels so nice to roll your fingers over it. It looks like what the song makes me feel!!

She also sent me these fantastic vintage photos she found. Aren't they awesome?? They're going into frames immediately.

This bag means a lot to me because the song reminds me not to let the little, everyday moments go for granted. Always sing Happy Birthday like its going to be your last day here on earth.
Thank you so much Annim. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

I'm finally getting the chance to update my pictures! Yeay!
I recieved this beautiful set of stationary from kategirl. They are so awesome, I really can't show you in a picture.

The quotes are different on each card, plus two Thank You cards:
"It is only possible to live happily ever after on a day to day basis." Margaret Bonnano
"Forget the past and live the present hour." Sarah Bolton
"In the darkest hour the soul is replenished and given strength to endure." Heart Warrior Chan
"In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." Albert Einstein
"The best way out is always through." Robert Frost
And the one I want to frame, "Nothing is worth more than this day." Johann von Goethe

I also got this fantastic pin cushion from TheEverFalling. It's so cute!! EXACTLY what I've always wanted!
I wish I could show you the amazing whipped cream detail, but I'm pretty great at taking bad pictures, so I'm sorry. Just imagine: amazing whipped cream detail!

And I know I say it all the time, but I really can't tell you how extremely excited I get when someone decorates my packages, Meow-wont-Purr style:

I'm talking screaming, jumping, crying in front of the neighborhood mailboxes. Where everyone can, and does, see me.
Thank you so much, ladies!! I truly, truly appreciate it!!

I do not know if one has been started yet. If not, here we go!

I received this lovely envelope from Bunnygirl82 today! It's awesome!

(Sorry for the white bar. I noticed too late I left my whole name visible, which is a great idea, right?)
The envelope and note are so fun with lots of stickers. And I got two bookmarks!! A very pretty book thong and one sewn, patchworky bookmark! Yeayy!! Thanks Bunnygirl, I'm going to PM you in a sec!
I have to say just from this one envelope, I'm having serious swap adequacy problems. I may have to send another set out...
