I just have no go to get it done right away.
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Quilt Repair Question on: October 10, 2012 02:47:28 PM
I made a T-shirt quilt for my son with his Star Wars T's (he's 10).
Anyway, we noticed 2 spots where the shirts have a cut.
They are small but, I'm afraid to wash it until it's fixed.
The hole looks like a cut 1/2" long.
How could I fix this? Would Aleene's stop fray work for a permanent fix?

2nd I do have a few quilts that are tore or falling apart at the seams, or just the fabric itself.
How could I fix these? 1 my mom hand quilted and is at the seams.
The others are well Loved and just tore/falling apart all over.
Thanks in advance

O BTW The holes/ tears are on the front of the quilts.
Thanks Again

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Only the Gloves on: November 09, 2007 08:25:05 AM
My latest, Scarf (knitted) with matching Gloves (crocheted).
I made a ton of these last year for Christmas gifts.
The gloves are just like making a towel with the crocheted part at the top (forgot what its called), Single crochet around the top of glove, then the 2nd time around I chain 5 attach, chain 7 attach and chain 5 attach same single crochet, then moved on to the next single crochet.
Very simple and for both gloves took about 30 minutes.

Oh I forgot to say scarf took 2 skiens of yarn and gloves less then 1 skien. my yarn was Fun Fur discontinued color Reg. price $4.94, sale $.64, gloves were $.33 a pair last year on black Friday (I got a bunch).
So $2.25 for the whole thing, and I'm sure I can find something small for the rest of the last skien.
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: cupcake purse on: July 03, 2007 10:19:58 AM
I used size H/5.00 MM hook
It really was easy to make...I have not crocheted for about 3 years, and just really only knew the basic's of it. So if I can do it I think anyone can

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: cupcake purse on: June 30, 2007 03:14:07 PM
Hi Thanks everyone
It is 6" tall and almost 6" wide at the widest point.

I did alot of refreshing my memory here
It's also where I found the pattern for the purse.

I Think I knit much better LOL, I can say I learned alot(knitting, crocheting, sewing, and painting) of what I do from books and now online, they have some great TUT's that teach you better then a book could.
8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / cupcake purse on: June 30, 2007 12:25:35 PM
I'm not the best crocheter, I learned from a book..LOL
I made this yesterday

I found the pattern on here, I had the bottom color and the top i bought at hobby lobby for $.71 marked down from $5.74.
After I finished the bottom I was not going to undo it cause it is wrong..So don't tell.(the top is right though)
9  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Few More quilts (IMG heavy) on: June 23, 2007 10:20:21 AM
Ok, so I didnt know how to make them smaller..And I didnt want to over load anyones computer ;P
This 1st one the purple is more purple in real life. It is on a Queen size bed.

Twin sized Deer one
The deer on the front I sewed the outline..By machine..to get this.
I did All the deer, but the pictures weren't coming out...so the best is that

and last but not least
This is the 1st rag quilt I ever did...
It needs washed more, as does the deer one (but it gets used ALOT)
Thanks for Looking
Now to find the other crafts I did other then quilts I made LOL
10  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Few More quilts on: June 23, 2007 09:29:39 AM
Ok I posted the "wild Bird" lap quilts I did.

This one I made for last 4th of July AKA our family reunion. It is Red, White and Blue (just bad camera/lighting)

Then I made a few "rag" quilts, This one I used a pattern (not the 1st time making a rag one though)

I have 3 more I would like to show off AND I have a new camera, so I will take a new picture of them. ^^These are just quilts that I no longer have.
