Most static is caused by over drying your clothing. If you set it to just before done and use the dryer balls your clothing shouldnt have too much static.

Thanks for the advice DeannaLynn06. Where could I buy what I need? I've looked for essential oils before at wal mart but had no luck. Thanks again for any help!  Grin

I buy my essential oils here: http://www.laundrytree.com/buy-soapnuts/scents.html, they are decent price and have some great mixed scents, but overall limited on scents

the oil and sugar are in the baking aisle of the grocery store.

for jars I used canning jam jars with the plastic lid that you can buy for canning jars. Next time I make them i want to use plastic jars, but I dont know where to get cute ones in a decent size with a good sealing lid.

Wow Always! How fun! That will be a great incentive for us all to get more accomplished.

May mini List:
1.Bath products for a spa gift basket for my mom and MIL (Any suggestions for easy salt/sugar scrubs would be appreciated) Cheesy
2.Gift for my niece's 2nd birthday....hoodie towels maybe, and boo-boo bunny
3.Balloon centerpiece/bouquet for her party
4.June Birthday gift for hubby....an eye mask so he can sleep in, and something else....he's a hard one to craft and buy for
5.Work on Loaded charm bracelet swap, I <3 OWLS swap, and Disney swap. I will count some projects seperately depending on how large or how long they take.
6.June Birthday gift for brother: plushie
7.Haunted Dollhouse. I didn't get to really work on it in April, though I did buy some scrapbook paper that hopefully will make good wallpaper
8.Garden art. It's still a bit too cold here to start gardening so I have a little more time to work on things. Still searching for a bowling ball too....

I hope May is a productive month for everyone! Good luck!

When I made sugar scrubs, I just used sugar crystals (the bigger ones, not regular sugar), safflower oil, and essential oil in a yummy citrus. I poured the sugar into the jar I was using then just enough safflower oil to make a paste then added the scent, then stir. super easy and fun to play with scents.

I got my wonderful goodies today from love2teach! She sent some great things.

Everything all together:

Reusable swiffer covers. These are amazing! They are double sided, one side is microfiber and one side is scrubby. My mom stole one the moment I told her what it was. So unfortunately I only have one now.

Four reversible napkins. These are great colors and will match my new kitchen decor very well.

Four sandwich wraps. They have food safe rip nylon on the inside to make them easy clean. My husband absolutely loved them. He said they are better then ones I made for him because now he can pack his pb&j sandwiches and they wont leak through the fabric.

Finally two velcro snack bags. They match the sandwich wraps and have the nylon in them as well.

Thank you so much!!

I claim padfoot for a geoboard.

Claim 2, 0 sent, 2 recieved

Hi, my name is Deanna and I am from Olympia, Washington. I am married with a 5 month old son and no pets. I prefer things from non-smoking homes, but I am not allergic to anything.

My favorites are blues/greens/teals in anything polka dot or striped. I don’t like to have religious symbols or animals on fabric. I also don’t really like oranges/yellow/red.

My Wist has a large variety of random likings. I would love anything from it or inspired by it.

For My Son:
•   *Big wish* Mei Tei in brown and green. I currently have a Moby and find it to stretchy to carry my son.  http://scanditute.blogspot.com/
•   Any sort of quiet book or activity for my son. We are always out and about and when he gets older I want him to have activities to do while he is sitting around. I have a ton of stuff on my Wist
•   Rag quilt letters in boyish or neutral prints http://ohsohappytogether.blogspot.com/2009/07/rag-quilt-letters-tutorial.html Thanks Faux_Valentine
•   File folder games that are laminated and ready to go. I would prefer nothing too religious http://theidearoom.blogspot.com/2009/10/file-folder-games-and-activities_04.html
•   Car travel games (similar to file folder games, but more travel related)
•   Any fabric book, toy or play food that my son can play with (fabric blocks, rattles, soffies, soft books, felt food are just a few examples)

For Me:
•   A rock floor mat like this, but in felt: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=37218.0
•   Some fabric hair rollers ( I would need about 30 of these, I have a lot of hair) http://lifewithmonkey.wordpress.com/2007/09/03/hair-curler-sewing-tutorial/
•   Reversible headbands ( I always have my hair back in a pony tail to keep my bangs out of the way so a weeks supply would be awesome) http://lifewithmonkey.wordpress.com/2007/09/03/hair-curler-sewing-tutorial/
•   Some summer slippers http://www.ladyharvatine.com/2007/06/summer-slippers.html
•   Some Kanzashi flowers to adorn headbands (or if you want to put them on the headbands yourself that would be cool too) https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=334300.0
•   A hobo bag http://www.jcarolinecreative.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Store_Code=JC&Screen=HOBO_BAG
•   Any fun flirty apron. I am not picky about style so I am not going to inspire you on this, have fun! Thanks gavagai

Craft Supplies
•   PUL for diapers and wetbags
•   Laminated cottons
•   Any quilting cottons (I prefer bright bold colors/patterns)
•   Any cute bright print flannels
•   Stretch Lace
•   Corduroy (in solids or fun prints)
•   Fat Quarters (I would like 2 of any print)
•   Fabric Jelly rolls
•   Muslin
•   zippers (any length, but really need some long separating ones for coats and stuff)
•   thread (any color)
•   sewing machine needles (all sizes mostly embroidery and quilting)
•   Iron on Appliqués
•   elastic (all sizes and types, I really need underwear elastic)
•   interfacing (all weights, and preferably iron on, but I don't mind sew in)
•   cotton or wool quilt batting (I love the warm and natural 100% cotton or the Dream Green)
•   Rotary Ruler (Fiskars makes one that I like)
•   Stabilizers (I do a lot of machine embroidery so any kind works for me)
•   100% cotton
•   Handspun
•   Wool
•   Bamboo
•   Other organics
•   PVA glue for book binding. I want to start making my own notebooks and journals
•   Padding Compound in White
•   Heavy duty adhesive backed magnet sheets (8 ½ x 11 or larger)
•   Plain colored t-shirts in sizes 6m-4T

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
