2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Harvest Home on: October 29, 2019 08:38:08 AM

When searching for a Fall themed pattern to stitch for the Ongoing Hoopla Along I came across this cutie on Etsy. I can just picture it as a little gnome home! The pattern is from NewLeafStichery on Etsy
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Spooky Sweet Skeleton on: October 29, 2019 07:02:46 AM

I stitched this up as my offering for October in the Ongoing Hoopla Along. I used a free printable coloring page I found online for the pattern.
4  COOKING / Dessert / Cookie Dough Frosting on: October 16, 2019 10:01:33 AM

We are celebrating our amazing boss today with a potluck. To me theres no better way to celebrate than with CUPCAKES! This cookie dough icing has been calling my name so I decided to give it a go. It was worth it! Im happy there is quite a bit leftover so I can eat it with a spoon. And yes, its totally okay to eat this raw since theres no eggs in the recipe!!

You are going to need:
Cupcakes or a cake, I used a box mix cause I was in a hurry.
1 cups brown sugar
1 cup softened butter
1 cups flour
2 tsp vanilla
-1 cup milk (I used cup but for a more spreadable consistency use more)
1 cup mini chocolate chips

Start by creaming  the butter and sugar
Add the vanilla
Add the flour cup at a time, mixing between each addition
Start adding the milk, I added a little at a time until it reached a consistency I liked
Mix in the chips

Now you can grab a spoon and get to eating or I suppose you can then scoop on to cupcakes as I did or spread it on a cake.

5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Golden Snitch on: September 25, 2019 08:31:03 AM

Here is my September hoop for the Ongoing Hoopla Along. This months theme is comfort. Reading and stitching both bring me comfort! Harry Potter is one of my favorite series and Ive had this just waiting to be stitched for a while! The pattern is a digital stamp from Le Petite Market on Etsy

I try to stitch something up for the Ongoing Hoopla Along each month and usually forget to share them here.

I love how this particular pattern I stitched for the month of March turned out.

7  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Poison Apple Key Fob on: August 08, 2019 04:10:14 PM

This was a labor of love and a lot of cursing! It took FOUR tries to get it done correctly. It was a combination of inferior materials, confusing instructions, and user error. Im glad i persisted (and bought better supplies) because i love it! The original pattern had red stitching for the apple and the eyes but I wanted it to be glittery too so there was some improvisation!
8  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Vanellope Von Schweetz on: August 08, 2019 04:04:34 PM

I stitched the Glitch for kittykill in The Darker Side of Disney Swap. I know shes not technically dark but we both love her and I couldnt resist!
9  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / Haunted Mansion American Horror Story Mashup on: August 08, 2019 01:35:06 PM
I made this shirt for kittykill in the Darker Side of Disney Swap. I know she loves The Haunted Mansion and watches AHS so this is the perfect mashup shirt. For those who dont know the saying is from the ride and the font is from American Horror Story
10  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Creature From the Black Lagoon Tin on: July 29, 2019 09:17:15 AM
I made this for my partner in the Open Tin Swap. I was wanting it to look similar to and old move marquee.

And on the back I used this gorgeous image that I found online. Its perfect all on its own.
