5  Cookie Dough Frosting in Dessert by lindyv321 on: October 16, 2019 10:01:33 AM

We are celebrating our amazing boss today with a potluck. To me theres no better way to celebrate than with CUPCAKES! This cookie dough icing has been calling my name so I decided to give it a go. It was worth it! Im happy there is quite a bit leftover so I can eat it with a spoon. And yes, its totally okay to eat this raw since theres no eggs in the recipe!!

You are going to need:
Cupcakes or a cake, I used a box mix cause I was in a hurry.
1 cups brown sugar
1 cup softened butter
1 cups flour
2 tsp vanilla
-1 cup milk (I used cup but for a more spreadable consistency use more)
1 cup mini chocolate chips

Start by creaming  the butter and sugar
Add the vanilla
Add the flour cup at a time, mixing between each addition
Start adding the milk, I added a little at a time until it reached a consistency I liked
Mix in the chips

Now you can grab a spoon and get to eating or I suppose you can then scoop on to cupcakes as I did or spread it on a cake.

I try to stitch something up for the Ongoing Hoopla Along each month and usually forget to share them here.
