1  What Happens When One is Bored at the Supermarket?[twist tie craft] in Completed Projects by hErbAl_tEA on: June 10, 2010 09:21:02 PM
Today, my parents dragged me off to the grocery store. I was so bored that I began to play around with the twist ties...

Exactly two hours, and 31 twist ties later... the result  Grin :

A lovely dining table with a matching chair!

How the table legs came together.

A twist tie person using the twist tie furniture.
(The colours are different because the twist ties are from different parts of the store)

Thanks for looking!!

2  My Yellow Summer Dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by hErbAl_tEA on: March 01, 2010 09:13:57 PM
Hi guys! I've been in love with the colour yellow lately... So as a result of that...

I can't wait to wear it out when the weather gets better! The fabric I bought is relatively thin, so I lined it with broadcloth.

The pattern is Simplicity 3676.

C&C is welcome! Thanks for looking  Cheesy

3  Polymer Penguins in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by hErbAl_tEA on: October 18, 2009 11:11:31 PM
Hey everyone! Its been a while... Ive been so busy with school and everything, I haven't had much time to do any crafting.  Undecided

Anyway, I made these today.

They have really tiny eyes... its just harder to see with the quality (I'm still experimenting with my digital camera). The blocks read that they're holding read "N E S S ♥". The name was a bit too long, so I chopped it up a bit. Each penguin (including their block) is .5" tall.

Comments and/or criticism always appreciated.  Smiley

Just a random question:
Is Sculpey glaze bakeable?

4  Pearl & Crystal Bracelets in Beads: Completed Projects by hErbAl_tEA on: August 02, 2009 09:55:21 PM
I was looking through my box of beads when I found some really nice pearly ones a friend of mine gave me a while back. I thought they would look really nice on a bracelet, so I came up with these:

Close up of the 'Evil' bracelet.

Close up of the pastel pink bracelet.

Close up of the pale green bracelet.

Close up of the bright blue-green bracelet.

They all have a little star on the jump ring, and a heart shaped clasp (except for the pink one because I ran out of supplies Lips sealed).

I got my inspiration from this picture:
Seeing as I didnt have a watch piece I could put in the middle, I just made the bracelet without it.

My favourite is the 4th one. What about you??
C&C always appreciated!!

5  Big Bang, Bride, and Groom in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by hErbAl_tEA on: July 27, 2009 01:54:33 AM
I started my clay obsession a few days ago... I should have started with beginner projects, but I couldn't help myself!  Lips sealed

Big Bang
Front / Side View

Here is the picture I worked off of. From left to right, it's TaeYang, DaeSung, SeungRi, GDragon, and TOP.
I made my favourites: SeungRi (in panda costume), GDragon (in mouse costume), and TOP (in dino costume).
They wore costumes like these in a concert. I thought they were so cute, so I decided to make them into little cell phone charms.  Smiley

Bride & Groom

I actually just thought them up myself. They were relatively easy to make. One sad fact is that I realized I forgot to give the groom hands before baking and glazing.  Embarrassed

C&C greatly appreciated!  Wink

6  Rainy Cloud & His Drops in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by hErbAl_tEA on: July 27, 2009 01:16:49 AM
This is a project that I finished about a week ago.
I first saw the knitting pattern at Mochimochi Shop (http://mochimochiland.com/shop/items/rainycloud_cart.php). But seeing as I can hardly knit and I probably wouldn't understand the pattern anyway, I made my own pattern for a 'Rainy Cloud'.

Rainy Cloud with his drops.

Close up of the drops' expressions.

I really love how it turned out! Grin
..but I think I made some of the eyes too big. They're still adorable though, no?

7  Tissue Box in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by hErbAl_tEA on: March 28, 2008 08:59:53 PM
Hi everyone!! This is my first post!! Seriously though?.. it took me a long time to find this page (and I'm still not sure I'm on the right topic)... I went to the help page 5 times  Embarrassed But enough about that...

This is my first little project!! I know this is a bit lame.. But more better things to come later!!

So I made this tissue box out of felt I bought at a shop. I have stuffed it up with cotton and put a little "tissue" sticking out (sewn on). The tissue is a cotton weave... But since I dont think you guys really care, I'll just get to the pictures.

click on the links below: (craftster wont let me post up pictures yet..)

Comment please!!

[[I'll probably put a key chain on it or something..]]
