I love that! The bird applique is the perfect finishing touch.

I'm really getting into recrafting with items I already have or find at yard sales... I'm going to borrow your idea for some linens of my own that are in need of attention.

O.k., so not exactly clothing... but I've been having a blast making baby bibs as of late. That's what happens when your sis is preggers and the neighbor has just dropped by with her newborn.

This was pretty easy to make. I pre-pleated the fabric, then cut it out from the pattern I created. The bib is bright white and the bow tie is a pretty purple batik (sorry - the colors didn't photograph so well).
