1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Need easy MP3 cozy on: January 02, 2008 02:27:14 PM

My apologies if you read this multiple places... I'm going to post several places to see what kind of ideas I get.

I want to do a library program for teens making MP3 cozies.  I mostly get 10-14 year olds and I'm thinking about the easiest thing possible for myself and them would be good.  I am envisioning buying lots of felt (or fabric) and the kids cutting the size they need, and maybe sewing a button flap on top or something.

I'm also thinking heat fuse tape might work well to avoid sewing, but maybe not.
Does heat fuse tape even work with felt?

Anyhow, if anyone has seen any tutes or has ideas for me, please let me know.
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / First project: The Doubtful Guest on: July 31, 2007 08:25:56 AM
This is my first attempt at clay.  Since I'm always inspired by Edward Gorey, I tried the Doubtful Guest.  He's about 6 inches tall.
His scarf and shoes burned a bit, but I like the effect.  Any tips on how to protect white clay, or thin layers when they're baking with thicker?
