I finished cutting and folding my journals (they are small and cute!) but haven't stitched or taken pics of them yet.  Just wanted to add something to my list...I need a new purse...a biggish, tote style one that can hold my laptop when I need it to...something with more pockets than what I usually make.  Will work on a pattern tomorrow at some point if all goes well.

J - adorable!  Love it!!

I am sooo wanting to do a mini art quilt but the thought is very scary!

All those strips I thought were going to go together so quickly for a quilt turned on to be cut on the bias.  They are so hard to use!  So I think I'm going to have to nix that idea and do something else with all of it instead, like save it for bindings...I was trying to get a quick(ish) project done so I'd be less behind, but it's not gonna happen...so now it's back to the big huge project!

I haven't been able to find a wooden puzzle yet so I'm going to start on the cardboard ones we have around the house and try audio's trick...hope I get to work on one tomorrow so I can see how it'll go for me!

Taking a break from the yellow and gray quilt, now I'm working on a way smaller and much quicker one...a quilt as you go wall hanging for my kidlet from her gma's fabrics.  I was originally going to make her a memory quilt but she asked for something for her wall instead, so it wouldn't get used as much but she could look at it all the time...she is so sweet!

I'm making a bunch of art journals this week (or plan to anyway) and think I'm going to go with a small size so I can feel accomplished when they're full!!  That's also what made me think about the color I hate the most journal...I think I'm going to start with that one first, just to get it out of the way.

I don't know how it would work either...I ended up going a different route with what I'm working on now so I will have to wait to try that method on something else.  I'll let you know how it goes and if someone else tries it out before me take good notes and pass 'em on!!  Cheesy

I was wondering about that too Jaeliyah...but then I realized my favorite show has a great soundtrack, and that the main reason I watch the show (which of course is a cute guy lol) is the lead singer in a band that does the theme song...so I'm pretty happy about the way that all worked out...lol.

Hey guys, I was on youtube this morning (shocking, I know, hehe) and came across a kind of cool technique that I thought maybe someone else would like to see as well.  It's called 10 minute blocks and from what I can see it looks like it might actually work...

I have a bunch of strips of fabric so I was thinking about trying this out...sewing them all together and then cutting them into 10 inch blocks.  I don't know for sure yet...but I have all those memory quilts to get done and this might be a faster way to do it, or at least make use of all the precut fabric strips I need to use up!

Yarn or Fabric - I commented on your yt video but I have to say it again - that video was priceless!  I loved the comments too - especially the one about the earthquake - so funny!  The frog is adorable.  I can't wait to see more vids, I am a youtuber as well (who is really really bad at posting new vids, ha ha) only because I am the world's worst photographer but can usually manage to get good 9enough) video footage, lol.

Mel - those hats are PERFECT.  People will be stopping you guys to ask where you bought them!

h_p - the focus is on crafting, not on being a slave to your list - you are doing awesome just to be crafting at all!  Kicking my butt for sure, I haven't been able to do a single thing for over a week now...yuck!
