1  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Monogram Pillowcase on: October 20, 2017 09:33:34 AM
This is kind of a mash up between Sublime's border pattern and my own lettering. They are for a friend and her husband. They decided to combine their name into one and monogram is a mixture of the two.

2  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Decorated Coffins on: October 18, 2017 08:51:37 AM
I love paper crafts but hardly ever do them because, let's face it, I am not that great at them. Anyway, that didn't stop me from trying again. I crafted these Smileyyogini for the 13 Days of Halloween. I am happy with the way they turned out.

3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Pumpkin Kitties on: October 18, 2017 08:46:36 AM
This is a tea towel I made for a very dear friend of mine. She is scaling back on certain things for her home so I wanted to give her something cute and functional. The pattern is from Hudson's Holiday. I tinted it with crayons.

4  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Grave Dancers Diorama on: October 17, 2017 02:50:35 PM
I wanted to try something completely different for the 13 Days of Halloween. I made this diorama for Smileyyogini. I used a 2 liter bottle, cut it in half and then built the scene underneath. The back of the bottle has a black tree and the crow sits on top where the mouth of the bottle is.

5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Chaos to the Fly on: October 17, 2017 02:45:33 PM
I stitched this up for Smileyyogini for the 13 days of Halloween swap. I tea stained the material so it would look weathered. After I framed it, I decided to add a little webbing.

The spider is from Sew Lovely and the lettering is my own.

6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Prairie Schooler Halloween Cross Stitch (picture heavy) on: October 13, 2017 09:33:43 AM
I stitched these up for Helena Puck for the Prairie Schooler swap. We both have a love for the Halloween patterns they made.

The finished projects are from two different pattern books.

9  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Craftster Quickies: Plastic Pumpkin Towers/Decorations on: September 28, 2017 08:10:53 AM

It's that time of year again! HALLOWEEN!!! My absolute favorite! Since my neighborhood frowns on 47 year olds trick or treating (whatever!), I decided to take those old pumpkin pales and make awesome towers for decorations. Check out the video HERE

10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Little Cactus Girl Embroidery on: September 19, 2017 08:16:05 AM
For those who do not have a green thumb this little girl is perfect for you. Plus, she is super happy to be with you!

I stitched it up for MareMare so she would have a little cheer in her office or craft space.
