31  Reading Mermaid in Needlework: Completed Projects by kittykill on: April 22, 2019 10:20:42 AM
This pattern is from Aimee Ray. She stitched it up with more green than I did. I didn't want her tail getting lost so I decided on blue. This was for Audio for the Mermaid swap.

33  Re: Flowers of the Month Stitch Along in Needlework: Stitchalongs by kittykill on: April 22, 2019 10:15:49 AM
I finished April. I can't believe we are four months in! I took liberties with the daisies. They are definitely not traditional.  Cheesy

34  Re: I love Houseplants Swwap? in New Swap Theme Ideas by kittykill on: April 17, 2019 09:13:11 AM
Some of my plants. I absolutely love succulents and African violets and for some reason have excellent luck with orchids. This is the third time in 3 years the orchid has bloomed.

This African violet blooms 2-3 times a year. It is huge! It has outgrown this bowl and I need a larger one, maybe a punch bowl.

This plant has bloomed before too. I wish it would again, it is so pretty.

I have  more in the kitchen and the tiki bar/dining room.

35  Lovely Ladies Embroidery Hoops (Image Heavy) in Needlework: Completed Projects by kittykill on: April 17, 2019 09:05:48 AM
For this month's stitch along the theme was your favorite time period. Two of my favorites are the 1920's and 1930's. I decided to stitch up these two ladies. I already have a wonderful wall of women so these are an added addition.

36  Re: Stitch Along 2013-until the END OF TIME in Needlework: Stitchalongs by kittykill on: April 17, 2019 08:51:46 AM
I finished my pieces for this month. I couldn't decided which one to pick so I did two. I love stitching these women up. One is from the 20's and the other from the 30's. Two of my favorite periods of time.

This is part of a Sublime Stitching series.

This is a vintage pattern that I tinted with crayons.

37  Re: 2019 Make-A-Friend Revival: Miniature Version Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by kittykill on: April 16, 2019 10:24:58 AM
I received my first package from BigBangMomma. Who knew we both love succulents! Check it out! We both also drink a ton of water (I drink a gallon a day). I love this little water bottle. So stinking cute. The black paper is chalkboard paper and the fabric represents her home state of Alaska. It is a pencil pouch. Although-it will probably be a floss pouch for me.  Cheesy   I love the pins-I collect enamel pins. Thanks for the goodies! I'm excited to craft for ya!

39  Pressed Flower Coasters and Sun Catcher in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by kittykill on: April 02, 2019 01:18:57 PM
I absolutely LOVED making the craft and video for this month.  Everything turned out so wonderful that I plan on making a ton more for gifts. Pressed Flower Coasters and Suncatchers make the perfect present for anyone. The sun catcher I made now blocks my view of my neighbor's bathroom. Horray! Beauty and function! Check out the latest Craftster Quickie to make a few of your very own.

The latest VIDEO

The supplies you will need are:
Variety of dried or pressed flowers
Copper tape
Industrial strength craft glue
Tweezers
Toothpicks
4x4 glass
Clips
Scissors

I bought my flowers online but how much fun would it be to collect your own from various walks and hikes you take throughout the year.

Sun Catcher

Close up!
