41  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Yipee! I've just got DIY on: December 30, 2004 02:59:33 PM
I left cable last spring and got the Dish so my terminally ill hubby could watch his beloved Nascar on FX.  I upgraded today, so now I can watch all the neat crafting shows, like Knitty Gritty, and Carol Duvell, etc.  I also got all the Discovery channels and Encore channels.  And a bunch of others I'll probebly never watch

43  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Lefsa Please on: November 30, 2004 06:27:33 AM
Does anyone have a good Lefsa recipe?  Lately the stuff I've been buying in the store, hasn't been very good.  Lefsa is a Norwegian flat bread, made with potatoes.
44  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / I'm loving Sanquhar gloves!!!! on: November 28, 2004 01:00:08 PM
I just picked up a copy of the winter "Interweave Knits"  On page 6 is an artical about sanquhar gloves.  It's a traditional knitting technic from Scottland.
It doesn't give a pattern, just some web sites.  Haven't checked them out yet.  Actually the idea of knitting with size 0-0000 needles is kinda scary, the smallest needles I've ever used is size 3.  Here is the web site with the pattern

My wall next to the tub is cracked and peeling, but the stuff the wall is made from is ok.  It's just the finish.  What can I do  to fix it.  I don't want to have to replace the wall board
