1  Re: Traveling Little Visitor Swap Round 30 GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by deadbathducky on: November 13, 2019 08:45:59 AM
Thank you for the well wishes everyone! I am feeling a tiny bit better, so was able to go to the local hardware store as we needed supplies for something. I took Nessie along and we had a Ceaser Salad at the cafe there while waiting.

This weekend I think we will look at some of the 'Santa'windows at a nearby shopping centre!

Vic has been busy helping in the kitchen:

First, he helped the girls making a face pizza.

Vic looks like he is enjoying himself so much!
It is funny that you made food with Vic today, we also made food here with Nessie!
We had Hiyashi Somen for dinner, a japanese chilled noodle dish served on hot days. It's usually served with a special dipping sauce and you can also add other things like veggies or meat. We had cherry tomatoes, cucumber and smoked salmon. I put some photos on Vic's twitter but here is Nessie trying some. (I know the photos look a little weirdly coloured, I had to use a flash)

Vic looks like he is having fun! That drink looks so pretty!

Nessie hasn't had much to do yet, just helping me around the house, and helping open a few of my gifts from the 13 days of Halloween swap. Next week I hope to take her out somewhere nice c:

Alisha I hope you feel better soon! Thats not good :c

I received a wonderful box from Taoj, I feel major MAJOR swap anxiety now, everything is so wonderfully wrapped I know this is going to be filled with amazing items. Thank you so much already Taoj!

And also a package of candy! I have never had a Canadian Cherry Blossom chocolate before, its amazing! I hadn't thanked you for it before Taoj, but honestly thank you, it was super super yummy!

Day 1 Was some yummy candy. These 'spare parts' and some candy 'bracelets' that didn't quite make it to the photo haha! I love gummy!

Day 2 was a cute little string of spider lights, I love it!

Day 3 is a Magic yarn ball! Soft yarn in such a nice colour, and what adorable handmade insides!!!! Im spoiled Cheesy

Day 4 was for my cat! New handmade candy and mousey toys for her to play with! Eeeeeh!(Sorry for the photos not being the best, I will try and wrangle them away from her for a better one! ) She loves them!

Day 5 is a little late because I had a cat emergency! (Nothing to do with the little toys Taoj sent me, my cat loves those and sleeps with one of the candy ones)
But Day five is here finally! Three little Halloween paintings for my plushie Moose Vic. So cute! I think they melted slightly but I still think love them, Franky is so cool!  Cheesy

Day 6 was a small surprise toy 'capsule' with a disney theme. I love these things! I opened it up with my current Little Visitor Nessie, and will add some of the other photos to the LV swap thread or Vic's twitter. SO cute, now they have a little Pumpkin Coach Alarm clock, perfect for Halloween!

Day 7, a cool decoration kit thing that reminds me of the Dia De Los Muertos Marigolds.

Day 8: A cute handmade 'Spooky' Banner modelled by my cat! I love it!

Day 9 A fun Skeleton and eyeball frame. I think this is great and quirky haha! It actually mqtches a keyring a friend gave me last year, I will have to find somewhere to put it

Day 10
An awesome polyclay set! I can make little brooches or earrings. I am being so spoiled Taoj thank you!

Day 11
A wonderfully made Sugar Skull cross stitch. I love the colours and how the heart on the forehead matches the nose almost! It seems to be able to slip out of the paper frame but I like it in the frame!

Day 12 is this neat little cabinet! Which a vintage black cat on the back and an adorable pumpkin girl inside. I love the sneaky Alien christmas stocking being included

Day 13! It's a box!?

But wait, theres someone in the box! It's this beautiful little handmade cutie!

I absolutely love her! She reminds me a little of the doll from Lilo and Stitch or a Tim Burton character and is from my pinterest, and is so awesome! I love how the little face, nd the belly button, and her little thumbs ups and her pumpkin coloured hair, and just everything! Thank you so much Taoj you are the best!

Im so sorry I cant get these to rotate properly on my phone. I will try to fix them later. Thank you again Taoj, you really are an awesome partner! And thank you for organising!

I have officially completed this swaps 13 days of hauntingly splendid items!  Have most wrapped... now to tag and card and add some sweet bits ... and off to the P.O. I shall go!

That is very cool!
I have also wrapped and have sent off my items. They are wrapped in plain paper (There was no Halloween themed paper) but I hope Taoj will still like them! I have swap anxiety now!

I claim this spot here and now I have recieved and can finally post some photos! I also recieved from our lovely organiser and she has mixed halloween and christmas together for me! Yay!(apologies if any of the photos are the wrong way, my phone does odd things to my posts)

Under our little teenie tree. Over the last few years my mum and I haven't really decorated at christmas much, but my tree has inbuilt lights and spins at night so it counts right?

The way all the days were wrapped. I love the use of the stamps and brown paper bags!

Extras I found floating in the box that Helena_Puck sent as an apology for being so late. My craft group is going to absolutely love the crafty booklets kit, and I always love postcards. Plus so many yummys to try! (Excuse my cat, she will be in some of these photos haha) and a patch from near when Helena_puck lives! Thank you for these you are too kind!

Now on the days!

Day 1

Tiny perler kit! I havent seen perler beads this small before over here, this looks like it will be fun!

Day 2

Pendants and a necklace to put them on. I love these!

Day 3

Cross stitch pattern and supplies (some thread, aida clothe, a cross stitch pen) I like the look of this one, and this coloured aida will make it look a little vintage. It looks like one I will be able to do!  Wink

Day 4

What's this? A snowball?

It's a whimsy ball! My cat liked playing with the crepe paper it was wrapped up in. Look at all the little whimsies and snacks to try! The middle was those funny little emoji erasers, that made me smile!

Day 5

Day five was some sugar skull tins for crafting with (All but one was empty, the yellow one had a cookie inside! yum!) a Oogie Boogie inspired tree topper? (I think it is for the tree, not sure lol) some sculpey and Christmas jelly belly!

Day 6

A cross stitch Zombie gingerbread man. I adore this little guy! I love the gingerbread cookie cutters which have a bite already taken out of them and this guy takes it to the next level. There was a magnet and a brooch back included so he could become a magnet or brooch!

Day 7

This cute little cross stitch ornament that looks like sugar candy, made in my favourite colours. I love your cross stitching Helena_Puck, so neat!

Day 8

The most adorable little hedgehog! I'm not sure how he got through customs since he seems to be made from pinecone spines but he is gorgeous! My partner loves Hedgehogs I'll have to give it to him hehe.

Day 9

I tiny little bear kit! Now I see what you meant earlier Helena! I will have to do this very carefully, but I can already see me making a tiny little jacket or hat for him. I love tiny kits!

Day ten was some lovely local tea! It had made the entire parcel smell like cinnamon and gorgeousness. I love it! (Picture when its not too hot for a cuppa!)

Day 11

Festive Peeps galore! Peeps are one of the candies that havent caught on over here so I always love getting them! And some cool cross stitch patterns that I have to try! Thank you for these!

Day 12

I am so sorry Helena! Here are the day 12 pictures. Super amazing awesome wonderful Hoopla of a Jackscepticeye Sam! So adorable!

Look at the cool drawings its decorated with. Ravens, old gates, hearts (I love anatomical hearts) and more! Quotes from my favourite poe stories too thank you!
