1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Spider-Man Coasters on: January 11, 2013 09:05:34 AM
I made another craft recently that I needed the comic for. Instead of wasting it (because I got enough grief from the guys I worked with for cutting up a comic book) I decided I had to use it for something, so I made myself some new coasters.

2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Cherry Blossoms on: June 03, 2012 01:20:37 PM
I just made this. I had some left over spray paint and some thin press board just laying around and felt like getting my craft on. I hope you like it.

The second photo is kinda crooked, the piece itself is level.

No pattern. I just did it as I went along.
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Robot Baby Mobile on: January 16, 2012 12:25:10 PM
About 8 months ago a friend of mine was pregnant her first. As a a babyshower gift I made her a robot mobile. I almost kept it for myself.

5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Toopy and Binoo on: January 16, 2012 12:05:46 PM
Awhile ago I made a character from a Canadian children's show named "Toopy and Binoo". Binoo was a huge hit foe everyoneI made him for. I was finally asked to make the other character. And so here they both are! Adorably cute and loved by the receivers.

I wish I could take credit for the idea. But They turned out just as I had hoped. And on the cheap. They aren't hard and offer a fun way to open up any room.

7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Skull and Xbones Tile Coasters on: January 16, 2012 11:44:09 AM
I was lucky enough that a purchase came with this adorable tissue paper. I grabbed some tiles and got out the mod podge and created these.

8  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Lichtenstein Explosion! Mural on: June 26, 2011 08:36:40 AM
Lol, I plan on painting the rest of the room yellow and another room red to tie into the mural.

I cut a sponge into circles and just dotted them on.
9  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Lichtenstein Explosion! Mural on: June 26, 2011 07:53:44 AM
So I just bought a house and the walls are dreadful. Full of brown brown and peach brown. Blech. I am not a fan of non-colour colours. So before I paint them red and yellow, I decided to do a mural.
I've always been a fan of Pop art and comic book art. With that in mind I set out to google and ended up with Lichtenstein's explosion. Got out my trusty overhead and got to work.

10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Chalkboard Food tray on: June 11, 2011 08:43:39 AM
I have a pretty terrible memory. So I recently picked up some chalkboard paint so I can make one big reminder board. But I had tons of the stuff left over. I picked up this little food tray at the dollar store and decided to make a dedicated grocery list chalkboard. Turned out pretty cute.
