11  Yarn Tree Mural V2 in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by LuckyNumber7 on: February 23, 2011 10:38:22 AM
I first experimented with this the other day and was happy but not happy enough. I took it down and did a new one. That is the absolute genius of this craft. It is so easy to put up and take down. There is over 150 push pins in this thing. Sorry about the pics,  it was tough getting a good one because of the windows and the snow.

12  Fridge Magnet Spice Rack in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by LuckyNumber7 on: February 23, 2011 10:29:33 AM
I don't have much counter space. Which means I have to figure out other ways to get my spices out there. I love the look of spices and don't want to hide them in a cupboard. So I went to the dollar store and picked up these little guys. Printed out some stickers and got to crafting.

13  Yarn Tree Mural in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by LuckyNumber7 on: February 20, 2011 03:46:50 PM
This was made entirely of brown yarn and thumbtacks. It's a great and very quick way to spruce up an ugly empty space with something that's easy to remove and can be put up in less then a couple hours!

I was lucky enough to have had an overhead projector so I just sketched out what I wanted to have on the wall and put markers for where the thumbtacks were going to be.

The finished:

The Set up: (so many thumbtacks)

14  Live Long and Prosper Hoodie in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by LuckyNumber7 on: February 17, 2011 08:02:12 AM
I wish I could take credit for this idea. I was just fooling around on the internet one day and came across this image http://boingboing.net/2010/09/29/live-long-and-prospe.html. I needed one! So I took out a fabric pen and got drawing. I love it in all its nerd glory.

15  1927 Vanity Fair Mural in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by LuckyNumber7 on: January 07, 2011 07:47:22 AM
I mentioned in passing the other day that I wanted to paint a mural but had yet to locate an overhead projector (I wasn't looking to hard to be honest). I sure did mentioned it to the right person because he immediately said he had one and would bring it over in a few days.  And in 4 days of recieving it I had this up Cheesy I think I owe him a bottle of wine. The original picture is the cover of the october 1927 Vanity Fair. I absolutely love the style from the 20's and 30's, whether it's art, architecture, high fashion etc. I might keep it a bit longer and do another one in my craft room or the kitchen.

16  Pom Pom Tree in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by LuckyNumber7 on: October 05, 2010 06:39:42 PM
I was sitting in my apartment avoiding a crochet project I'm in no hurry to do. So the best way to avoid doing what I didn't want to do was find  something new to do.  So I got some items together, three coat hangers, 4 colours of wool-ease think 'n quick, a dollarstore pylon and a straw dispenser and came up with the Pom Pom Tree. Some patient pom pom making and a lot of muscle to shape the hangers (they don't like to bend apparently) and I came up with this.

18  Butters in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by LuckyNumber7 on: September 12, 2010 02:19:32 PM
This is another prize I made for someone at work. Sorry for the pic, I didn't remember to get another one before giving it to him. He apparently loved it. After I gave it to him he wouldn't let anyone else touch it.

19  Ryu Street Fighter in Knitting: Completed Projects by LuckyNumber7 on: September 12, 2010 02:15:53 PM
I made this as a prize for an ongoing contest I do at work. The theme for that week was Street fighter. It was made for a man so it's a bit large on my head. I really hope he likes it.

It's been awhile since I've done a silk screening project. I had almost forgot how long the process can be. Almost. But well worth it. Sorry for the not so great pic
Hope you liked it.
