1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: First time Amigurumi on: March 28, 2012 12:06:29 PM

2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / First time Amigurumi on: March 27, 2012 04:26:59 AM
I had quite a bit of wool left over, and finally had enough courage to try amigurumi! They didn't turn out great, not even close, but I like them. They're for my 5 year old nephew (the bear), and my 3 year old niece (the wonky panda) and I really hope they'll like them!
I used this pattern for the panda: http://cdn.makezine.com/make/craft/CRAFT_crochetalong_fuzzypanda.pdf (There are videos on youtube to this pattern as well) and mostly this pattern for the bear: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=223520.0 I didn't follow it completely, the head and body are the pattern, the arms I winged. I also used this as inspiration: http://www.kawaiicrochet.com/baron-von-mustache I embroidered the 'tache on, because I didn't want to use felt.

Sorry for the webcam shots. I have no idea how to resize my camera photos :S
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Beads and Colours on: March 13, 2012 01:16:16 PM
These things have been keeping me busy the past few weeks. I love making bracelets, and I don't know what to do with them all!
Probably my favourite so far. I saw something like it somewhere before, I'm just really not sure where anymore.
Shameless copy of a Chan Luu bracelet ^^

Just a few of the whole load of friendship bracelets I've been making like a machine.

Hi! Right now I'm obsessed with beaded bracelets, and found a bracelet online which I would LOVE to recreate for my sister. She'd flip. It's that awesome.
So, if anyone has an idea how to make it, please please help! =(
Thank you!!

Is it a type of macram?
6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: New boy... comic nerd! on: July 09, 2011 03:03:15 AM
My boyfriend loves comics too, and he was browsing the web and came across a Marvel Heroes belt buckle. He "oooooooh"ed a lot at it, lol.
I'm sure you could find one somewhere online to order.
Hope that helped.
7  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Discussion and Questions / Frame loom help on: March 14, 2011 01:50:19 PM
So I decided to take up weaving, we're learning about it at school and thought it'd be pretty awesome to do. I'd like to weave a blanket for my boyfriend, and I bought a frame loom on ebay the other day. I bought it before thinking about it too much. I want to make a blanket!
You can't make the piece longer without cutting it off the loom and sewing the pieces together, or is there a way? I've been thinking, and dreaming, about it for days, but can't come up with a solution. I'd like to make long pieces at one go, and not just be reduced to the length of the frame.
Any suggestions?

I'd really really like to make this scarf for a guy I like, but I'm not a long enough crocheter to be able to tell what kind of pattern this is. Or what hook to use, probably chunky or at least somewhat thick yarn...
Please please help! Thank you guys soooo much!!

It's so pretty  Cheesy
