1  Just finished! My Headline News Cabled Newsboy Cap from SNBN. in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by broadzilla on: November 22, 2004 10:13:33 PM
I made it with some Lion Brand Wool-Ease that I already had in my stash.  It's more of a burgandy than it appears in the picture, but you know how flashes are.  It was a fun small project and I've already gotten a request for another but there are several other patterns that I can't wait to do so the request may have to wait!

Here is that hat that I made for my boyfriend based off of the hot head pattern.  I used Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick in navy and gray on I think size 10.5 needles.  I cast on 52 stitches and my stripes were 6 rows wide with 3 stripes of gray and two stripes of navy.  If I were to do it again I would would make it a little shorter so I would probably do that by making the stripes only 5 rows wide.  Maybe something like this would work for you too.
