I took the pictures just after spraying it with water to remove the water erasable pen marks, (couldn't wait until it dried  Roll Eyes )

I made this tea towels for a wedding anniversary gift, hope she likes them.
The Ukelele is my favorite with the Lei hanging from it. The Hibiscus ...well I think I messed up a little on the stitches in the center of the flower.

26  Free Style Embroidery Needlebook in Needlework: Completed Projects by Dona Leonor on: June 24, 2008 07:56:07 PM
I made this needlebook from a pattern in Sew Pretty Homestyle book but
the embroidery is free style by me  Wink .

This is how it looks inside:

I intended to make the outside of the needlebook in the pink gingham fabric but I ended up messing it up when ironing the stiffening material so I ended up cutting my birdhouse and applique it to the linen fabric.

30  The big thread of transfer pen/pencil questions in Needlework: Discussion and Questions by Dona Leonor on: May 12, 2008 04:55:04 PM
Hi everyone ! I've being working on two black t-shirts. First I tried the Chacopaper in white to transfer my design...with not too much sucess, later I tried regular chalk paper (the one use for sewing) in white but not much help either.
So decided to try the super messy White Sulky Transfer pen but in a different way.
First instead of tracing with entire lines, I chose to just make doted lines in order to make less mess and I think I like the results...of course not perfect but better than the previous methods I've tried. (And for what a pay for this pen... I better make it work !!!  Roll Eyes  Wink   )...lol !

Here are some pictures:
sorry is not great but you can see that I used dots instead of lines,

Here is already Iron on the black t-shirt:

any input or suggestions are greatly appreciated !!!

PD (I was experimenting with the yellow transfer pen as well but the yellow petals didn't transfer...oh well !)
