Beautiful work, my friend.
22  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Just flying by... on: September 04, 2011 10:09:23 AM
I love the clean simplicity of it.  A set of loops would be such a fun addition!

A whole new meaning to "mature image"!
I love her.  I love the background too.
25  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Clowncore: Ed Cox on: August 29, 2011 12:47:44 PM
Great piece! I don't think I would have the patience to stitch an accordian! LOL.
The clown makeup freaks me out more than a little bit, but you captured it very well.
26  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: Keeping Finished Projects From Falling Apart? on: August 25, 2011 01:28:33 PM
Unless the tote will be used to carry sandpaper, I can't imagine that the knots will come undone.  I am sure that you could use some fusible web over the back to "seal" it if you are concerned.  A liner will definitely help.  Good luck! I look forward to seeing the finished project here!

Fabulous! This would be so wicked cool in a grouping.  I think you need a Brownie next!
28  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: This squirrel will eat your soul on: August 25, 2011 01:23:16 PM
Welcome to embroidery! Cute and creepy squirrel! I have seen that pattern and it scares the beejebus out of me too!
29  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Librarian Fairy on: August 24, 2011 08:41:57 AM
You HAVE to post the pics of the baby in the egg! WIP or not, it is amazing!
30  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Soviet Union Propaganda Folk Art Quilt on: August 15, 2011 07:29:20 PM
This is so wicked awesome! I LOVE IT!
The movie The Day After really scared the beejebus out of me as a kid, so the Cold War was a prominent aspect of the 80s for me.  This is going to hang with love in my computer/art room, right beside my comfy chair.

HUGS to the awesomest bestie ever!
