1  My first dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by JadedOne on: December 06, 2009 08:15:50 PM
I really liked this fabric and debated for about a month or so on what to make from it and i was sitting in front of my dress form and went "A dress! That's what I'll make".  Anyone that knows me, knows that i absolutely hate dresses but I think I would cave and wear this one..

I'm not sure if i should hem the back or leave it a little longer than the rest of it..what do you think?

you can sorta see the hemline.

I love the knots at the neckline.

I think it needs a belt or something at the waist...I'm not sure tho...

Suggestions would be great

3  Re: Show Off Your Hair! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by JadedOne on: March 16, 2009 05:30:20 AM

This is like a 1/2 hour before I colored my hair last night...

Some more before pics.......in 1 or 2 you can really see the 2 tone colors

After of course these are while my hair was still wet

And I took these this morning at least it's dry.

The last 2 pics, I decided that the sides and bangs were too long, so I cut them Smiley

Oooooo I found one from over the summer.

this one was taken over the summer

4  Finally a lip balm I can handle in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by JadedOne on: March 10, 2009 03:08:04 PM
So while my kids were in school today, and while my husband was laying down.  I decided that i was going to again try my hand at making some lip balm.

So I melted down (in a small glass bowl in the microwave) 3-3.5 oz of petroleum jelly.

after it was completely melted, I mixed spoonful of unsweetened Cocoa powder.

this was shortly after it started to set.

I had just poured into the containers.

This was after it was set, I had to scoop it out with a spoon....... and this is what it looks like after everything is said and done......

6  Donuts anyone? in Recipes and Cooking Tips by JadedOne on: March 07, 2009 04:43:35 PM
I decided that today I was going to be creative.  I've been meaning to make these little guys since I got my nifty donut pan.   I made some chocolate ones last night but did not get to take pics like I wanted.  Here are the ones that I made today.

They still aren't done yet.........I still have to put powdered sugar or chocolate on them...

7  Mini Crustless Quiche in Recipes and Cooking Tips by JadedOne on: March 03, 2009 06:52:34 AM

5 eggs
4 Tbsp Bruschetta
dash of black pepper
dash of oregano
1 pkg of ham (had to use what I had on hand so we went with pkgd ham from Sav a lot, I think)

Preheat oven to 350.

Spray mini muffin pan with canola oil spray

Beat all 5 eggs together, next add the 4 Tbsp Bruschetta, black pepper, and oregano. Cut the ham into bite sized pieces and add that to the mixture. Pour egg mixture into the mini muffin pan. Bake for about 30 minutes.

Soooo yummy, and my boys even liked them and 1 of them is a really picky eater Smiley

I should mention that this makes 24 "bites"......this pic is what was left after the kids got to them lol
