Great job, lillybeth!  I'm done with mine, but trying to decide if I want to do the ruching or not.  Yours looks great without it!

ceedah - that looks so great!  Seeing a pretty fo is always great motivation.

I'm almost done with my adjustments, so I hope to do the finishing tonight and have a pic tomorrow.  Hopefully.

It's been a while since I checked back in, because, like kitty824, I was a little disappointed with how mine turned out.  It isn't too big, but the scoop neck is uncomfortably low and the increase-decrease deal on the sleeves makes my shoulders look funny.  I blocked it and feel like it has potential, so sometime soon (maybe tonight) I'll be unpicking my kitchener stitches at the straps and messing around to adjust the width and length of the straps.  Then I'll almost done!

I look forward to hearing more about everyone's progress.  And kitty824, you may want to try throwing yours in the washer and dryer and see if the proportions come out better.

chaotic - that looks great!  I love the wave stitch at the bottom - very elegant!

I finished the increases this weekend, so I'll be done soon!

ceedah and kitty 824, I'm using the recommended yarn and needles, but I also didn't do a gauge swatch (I'm lazy that way), so I guess I'm taking a risk too.

ceedah - Good for you, being adventurous with the long sleeves.  I'll look forward to seeing your progress.

As far as my progress, I just finished the first decrease round.  I'll post a progress pic soon.

I'm going to get started on the Ballet Camisole from the new Magknits tonight (I hope).  Take a look here - http://magknits.com/July06/ballet.htm.  It looks so simple and cute - a great easy and affordable summer knit.

I'll be using Knitpicks Shine Sport in Orchid.  Anyone care to join me?
10  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Completed Projects / Re: YARN DYEING 101 - KOOL AID on: June 12, 2006 10:07:46 AM
I recently finished my first kool-aid dyed skein - thanks in great part to the wonderful inspiration and wisdom shared here.

I used Lemon Lime, Berry Blue, and Changin' Cherry - just one packet of each, and the yarn is Knitpicks Color Your Own sock yarn.  I followed Eunny Jang's great tutorial to make it self-striping.  (Find it here - http://www.eunnyjang.com/knit/2005/12/techniques_selfstriping_yarn.html)

Check out the entry on my blog for more pix and details.  It's here - http://curlymo.blogspot.com/2006/06/fun-with-koolaid-and-wool.html
