1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: What are you gonna do with your $1 Target yarn(s)? on: September 15, 2005 05:57:52 AM
Same thing -- I couldn't resist the price.  But I have found that the grey fur yard (all I bought) is thin as floss.  I don't know what to do with it.  I think it will just sit unused.  Any ideas?
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Dog Food (and human food) Chili on: May 24, 2005 11:50:08 AM
Oh, yes.  Chemical flea products are more effective, sure.  This recipe is more for the dog fun aspect.  Dogs, like people, like sweet things so the corn and carrots are nice for them.

I'm no vet but it's my understanding that dogs can eat similar things to humans.  I don't see harm in giving dogs things you know are safe for them (for instance, avacados are NOT safe for dogs or cats).  You know, check with your vet.

But re: no human food.  Sure, I'd never give my dog processed human food.  I wouldn't give him oreos or hogdogs or cake but he loves to eat pears and tomatos from the (organic) garden and I think he's healthier because I of it.

Sound better?

_The Urban Knitter_ ( book) has a bra pattern that you could make as sexy as you like.  Also, White Lies Design (website) has sexy patterns.

Oh no.  Oh NO, I will not have body-bashing on this knitalong!  Get down with your hot self -- so what if you only wear them around the house.  At least _you'll_ know how sexy you are.

If you have found yarn you like, look at the label and it will tell you what size needles you will need for that size yarn.  See page 20 of the original SNB to help you with this.  Good Luck!

Hello all,

My crochet skills are pretty sorry.  I purchased the scarf seen here:

I was hoping I could figure out how to make these ruffles but no luck.  Do any of you crafty people recognize this pattern?
