11  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Honeymoon salad tea towel on: September 30, 2014 05:29:34 PM
I've been interpreting old diner slang into tea towel designs lately and laugh every time I think of Honeymoon salad being just lettuce.
12  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Halloween Garland with Ghosts, Witch Hats and Brooms on: September 30, 2014 05:25:31 PM
Love how this turned out - perfect for a cute Halloween!  It took a while to figure out how I was going to make the broom just using yarn - I-cord and pom pons to the rescue!
13  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Little Pumpkins Crochet Garland on: September 30, 2014 05:21:01 PM
Love that this can be on display for a couple months celebrating Fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving.
14  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Maple Leaf Crochet Garland on: September 30, 2014 05:16:18 PM
So quick to crochet and just in time for the falling leaves outside.  Fingering weight wool is my favorite for garlands

15  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Crochet tree on: May 13, 2011 12:20:56 PM
Ooooh, I hope this stays up for a VERY long time.  The general public needs to be exposed to as much crafty goodness as possible.  If you're ever in Chicago, there are plenty of trees in the park that need a crocheted outfitting :-)
16  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: my first afghan, SUDOKU STYLE! on: May 13, 2011 12:10:18 PM
GREAT IDEA!!!  and love the colors
17  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Fun flower embroidery on: May 10, 2011 12:24:00 PM
The corduroy addition really makes this piece.  I love that idea and will be stealing it  Smiley
18  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: A flower hoop, just for me! on: May 10, 2011 11:25:30 AM
That wall is fantastic!  Love the colors you used for your flower hoop.  I remember using that pattern in a swap a couple years ago . . . now I want to do it again all for myself!
19  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: 16th Century Blackwork Partlet on: May 10, 2011 11:22:54 AM
This is so nice.  The blackwork is perfect on your shirt.  I also really like the thought of embellishing clothing rather than sticking with embroidery projects that turn into wall hangings . . . there's just so much wall to go around!

Love it! Owls fascinate me.
