I got the MOST AWESOME package today! I came home from a looong day out with two extra kids (for those who don't know, I have 5 of my own!) to find a box hiding at my front door! It instantly brought my momentum right back up!! Here are my goodies!

I opened to find cute little packages neatly waiting to be TORN INTO!! So, I complied!

First, something for the kids! Without knowing my stalker matched it to their bathroom perfectly!

She MUST have a second sense or something for color matching, because I opened the next package that was labeled for hubby and I to find these:

I took all the pics on my bed, and you can see that, again, without knowing, she matched my sheets PERFECTLY with these pillowcases! They say: "So fall asleep love, loved by me for I know love, I am loved by thee." I LOOOVE them!

Next up: CUTE crocheted bangles (which I have had on my wists forevvvver!)

Aren't they cute?!!? BTW stalker, I don't wanna share .. all mine!! Cheesy

Next I opened these AWESOME wool bowls!! I adore these soooooo much!

One is red, grey and cream, then a solid grey and a solid cream! They are right at home in my kitchen already! LOVE them!

Then I opened this adorable frame, decorated to match my youngest girls Mickey & Minnie themed room ... love it, and to top it off my stalker sent all those stickers and papers so I can add more to it and use them for other stuff too!!

She even spoiled me with some extra ribbons to match the girls room!!

Here's all my loot together! Don't miss the awesome pillowcases in there, they blend right in with my bedsheets!! Smiley

Sorry it's a bit blurry ..

OH and maybe you guys wanna know who my stalker was?!

These are all the notes that were on my pressies ... look at the circled letters! Yup, it's Valsped ... I guessed right! Thank you sooo much Valsped I LOVE all of our goodies!

I got my wonderful hoops from Robinpich, a wonderful addition to my weekend!! I had to wait for the sun to come out for pics, but here they are! They are so adorable and they match my craft room perfectly!

Dream it:

I love the colors! They are awesome. The backing fabric is really soft and fluffy ... during my stalking of Robin I found out she uses felted sweaters for alot of her crafts, so I am guessing that is what the background is .. I LOVE it! Thank you so much Robin! I hope you enjoy your hoops too!

"I don't care what science says, I know my dog understands every word I say."

The dress comes off the lady on this card. It says: "I have a morbid fascination with the "clothing for curvaceous craftsters" board ... ... I really admire their selm esteem, but I really hope I never be fat."

"I support ecoterrorism because asking big companies not to poison your kids just isn't working. A clean earth is more important than another dollar"

"I'm 31 years old and I have a baby tooth. It's loose so I'm hoping this darn tooth fairy has alot of money to bring to replace that..."

"This won't be crafty enough for you"

The back says: "I wish I was a wizard"

PostSecret is a website located at http://www.postsecret.blogspot.com
The idea behind it is to create a postcard, using images, illustrations, paintings, etc., and write or type a secret on it that you want to anonymously share with the world.

The Craftster twist is that your cards need to be creative in addition to being sent to members of our little group. Remember there is no way to guarantee this is 100% anonymous because some people may be able to trace a card back (if they are super super sleuths!), if youd like to protect yourself as much as possible I recommend removing your location from your Craftster profile and temporarily removing your links as well (etsy, Facebook, blogs, etc.). Of course you dont have to do this!

You will be sending 10 cards.

The Anatomy of a Postcard

Your postcard should include at least one image and your secret, which should be written/typed out on the front of the card. Make your cards however you like-- photographs, collage, drawing, painting--or buy postcards and embellish them with your secrets.

You can write a note to the recipient on the back of the card, but that's optional.

Your postcards can all be based around the same secret, or all different. If you use the same secret for multiple cards, the visual part of the card must be different and you must phrase your secret differently. Ideally, you should really use 10 different secrets.

Questionable Content?

Some secrets are not G-rated. I don't want to restrict anyone's freedom of expression, but please realize some people may not want to be exposed to content they may find offensive.

There are many members under 18 on Craftster, and I wouldn't want anyone getting inappropriate content (sexual, violent, etc.) their parents would not approve of.

In the swap questionnaire, I have given you the opportunity to state what themes and images you would prefer not to receive. Please use this space to specify what you do NOT want to receive, the information will be given to those sending to you so they will know what not to send you.

SENDING ANY KIND OF PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIAL WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. This is a rule set for all swaps on Craftster. Basically, if you would need ID to buy it, don't put it on your postcard.

This swap is anonymous; you won't know which postcard is coming from which Craftster member. However, the system isn't perfect. In this swap you will receive a code (like G6, for example and it may be different once your code is assigned) and you will put that assigned code on the bottom left-hand corner of the backside of your postcard (where you would put the address). Please put this on the back of your card, even if it's in an envelope.

If it would ruin your life (or someone else's life) if a fellow Craftster did some Internet detective work and figured out which secret was yours, you probably shouldn't be putting it on a postcard for the world to see. This isn't the place to admit you committed a felony or anything.

And if you are one of those people who can't possibly live without doing the detective work, please keep that information to yourself and don't ruin a fun swap for the rest of us.

If you're really worried about someone matching up the postmark on the card with your name, you could send your postcards from a town near yours, from your work, etc.

Or if you feel like being super-sneaky, you can have your cards postmarked at the North Pole:
North Pole Postmarks

There are no DC numbers for this swap, since they cannot be put on a postcard. When you send your cards, you MUST get a receipt from the post office and you MUST e-mail a scan or photo of the receipt to the organizer. Therefore, if you don't have access to a scanner or digital camera, you cannot join this swap.

You must be willing to ship internationally.

You may mail your cards in envelopes if you want them to be a little more protected.

Absolutely do not forget your code!

Half of the fun of this swap is looking over the gallery daily to see all the secrets that have been sent. Please make sure that you have access to a scanner or camera so that you can share the postcards with the rest of us. Pictures absolutely must be posted in a timely manner!! We need to be able to see postcards that have been received.

As soon as you do receive you need to PM me and tell me the code on the back of the card so I can mark appropriate members accordingly.

Positive feedback will be assigned when you have
  • PMd proof of sending your cards
  • Have PMd the codes from ALL the cards you have received
  • Photos of ALL cards you received have been posted in the gallery

NOTE:While I can not withhold a "positive feedback" for failure to post photos, it will be noted in comments that you did not follow the swap guidelines.

Sending Late

If something happens that prevents you from sending your cards on time, that's OK--life happens! Just PM me before the deadline, and e-mail your receipt when you send. If you don't ship by the deadline and I haven't heard from you, I will be forced to assume you're not sending and will have to leave negative feedback until you've sent (and can prove it).

Of course we don't want flakers! We can (and will!) be keeping track of all secrets sent by the codes you will be putting on them. If you forget a code, we cannot just accept your word for it. You absolutely must remember to put your code on it or have a picture of your secret before you sent so we can match to the rec'd secret.

Please take pictures of your secrets so that if someone flakes, they can still be posted (anonymously).

When posting your received secrets in photos, you must photograph each one individually - so that means no "group shots." A group shot has 2 or more cards in the photo. Because trying to fit 2+ cards into the picture is hard, it makes it near impossible to get a good representation of the cards. Remember, this is first and foremost a craft forum and a craft based swap. Your cards should be 100% crafty with effort noticeable and the pictures should show the hard work the secret-sender put into it (as well as their secret) since they are not able to post their pictures themselves. Also, PLEASE cover the code of the person who sent the card when taking photos to post.

Comments in the Gallery

Comments will be allowed.
However, when posting the pictures of the secrets you receive you have to hold your comments for a separate post. So that means: No comments in any posts with pictures. This is to make it easier for members not wishing to read any comments to search with the "View Images Only" option. Yes, you can post your pictures and immediately post again with your comments to your own post.

*Note: You will not receive Negative feedback for not following the above rules, however it will be reflected in the comments of your feedback that you did not follow the directions of the swap when asked.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:
