Thank you for the sweet comments! (See what I did there? Wink)

The colours of the yellow and grey bag are super cute! And that little Christmas scene, eee!

Is Christmas seriously only 5 months away? Ack... I'm selling at a huge sale this year, but I'm thinking I'll do baking instead of crafts. It makes me a little nervous that I won't be able to make things as far in advance!

Thank you all for the kind words on my yummies! I'd share if I could... and kbrison, focaccia is WAY easier than I expected, and delicious! This is the recipe I used: http://www.inspiredtaste.net/19313/easy-focaccia-bread-recipe-with-herbs/

I love seeing everyone's outdoor projects; I'm itching to fix up our yard but we're also debating moving, so I don't want to put too much work into it yet!

The cat twinchie is adorable. <3

Your baking, well, all of your food, looks phenomenal! Wow! How exciting that you were on a cooking show, too!

Thanks! I auditioned for the show, but didn't make the final cut. I'll be trying again next year! Smiley

OK... two people asked for it, so here's my current dump! Ask if you want recipes and I'll see if I can track them down. There are a few recipes I don't usually share because they're more estimations and eyeballing, but not many.

Savory

Had a craving one night, so I made homemade pizzas for dinner Smiley

Focaccia bread

I made a bunch of baguettes and for some reason took a picture of one... weird.

Goat cheese and date palmiers, made with homemade puff pastry

Cupcakes:

Chocolate toffee cupcakes with caramel swiss meringue buttercream

Unicorn cupcakes with fondant decorations

Colourful cupcakes! A pilot friend purchased these to bring to a friend's engagement party in another city. I made horns and ears for them so she could decorate them like the unicorn cupcakes as well. Smiley

Black forest cupcakes, visible on the right side of this photo, at the "hot chocolate river" bar at my Willy Wonka movie night! Also in there are homemade marshmallows and chocolate chip cookies.

Cookie dough cupcakes, with a ball of cookie dough baked inside

Cakes!

Me with the cake I brought to my CBC audition. Chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse filling, chocolate ganache, and homemade peanut butter cups. I travelled for my audition and had baked in an unfamiliar and VERY hot kitchen where my ganache wouldn't set, so it wasn't as pretty as I would have liked it, but still tasted delicious.

Snickers cake for my brother's birthday (chocolate cake, nougat filling, salted caramel sauce/buttercream, ganache, salted peanuts)

Vanilla cake with buttercream, made for one of the guys in my Improv group

Charlotte cake (sponge cake with raspberry mousse) for my Mummo's birthday

Misc.

Scones made at my CBC audition. Everyone had a basic scone recipe and we got to choose our own flavours and add-ins. I made cardamom raisin scones with blueberry glaze and raw sugar sprinkled on top. They got a little overbaked in their fancy shmancy oven! Anyway, I have made scones so many times since then. They're so easy and so good! Sometimes I'll make them before work so I can have one with a cup of tea when I get to the office. Best breakfast ever!

Pulla, Finnish coffee bread. I'm on a trek to make this more of a signature item for me. I only have my Mummo's (grandmother's) very rough estimated recipe. I'll have to ask her to make it with me again one day to see what I'm missing. Smiley

Cherry & blueberry turnovers, using up my homemade puff pastry

Cream puff practice (Froot Loop, Earl Grey & lemon, and mocha blueberry), and brownies

Homemade cookie dough ice cream with hot fudge (homemade, of course!) and whipping cream. I bought a whipping cream dispenser at a thrift shop and it's so fun!

And on a crafty note, I don't think I ever posted my Pocket Letters for the swap earlier this year! Here are the two I sent out; heart themed and cityscape themed, featuring my hometown.

Phew! Here's to more crafting (and more baking Smiley) in the second half of the year! Speaking of baking... I just finished making a pan of nanaimo bars!

The stitched necklaces and fairy gardens are adorable!
The bag is awesome. Love the fabric.
The bird in the party hat! Awwww. <3
The jewelry, the sewing, the stitching, agh! So many projects this year, I can't pick favourites.

Everyone has been doing beautiful work. I'm so behind on this thread. I haven't made much craftiness other than food this year. Lots of baking. I had an audition for the Great Canadian Baking Show (spinoff of the Great British Bake Off) on CBC so I was practicing a lot! (Didn't get it, but I'm content. I can plan my summer and enjoy some down time). Smiley I have pictures of a fair bit of my baking, but feel bad spamming you all with hoards of photos at once!

Keep up the lovely work, all I'm hoping to clean out my craft room this summer so hopefully I will be making many things with the goodies I find! I also have a spot booked at a huge craft sale this December, so it'll be time to start making some inventory soon. Smiley

Smmarrt, that is so... well, smart! Such a good idea. I need to try Gelli printing and will definitely be stamping envelopes as I do. Smiley

Just added my pics on page 2! Next time I'll pick something slightly less nitpicky than tiny bunting. Smiley

I will post a picture or two but want to make sure my last card was received before doing so. Smiley Going to send a PM now!

So cool to see everyone's techniques and get ideas for next time!

I've received from everyone, but it looks like noooitaremybirthday hasn't received from me yet. I'm hoping it didn't get lost!

Looks like 3 of mine are still in transit, I hope they make it safely!

When I got your card, Calluna, I wondered how you would have done 20+ cards with the same dictionary words on them! I thought you must have had an abundance of dictionaries to cut up. Wink It never occurred to me that the words could be different  let alone the entire card!
