OK I finished. I just wish it wasn't 10:30pm. I'll have to wait till morning to try it on her. I'll get some action shots in the morning. Tutorial was great. You may want to change your strap count to 4 pieces on the material list. Not sure if the length is right also. I think it was for the original design which was just two solid straps. That was the only problem that I had. I was just to lazy to make new ones. So I used ribbon. Hope they hold up. If not I'll switch them out.

The last two pics are more true in color.

I also made the pocket just a tiny bit bigger. For some reason it looked too small to me.

3  Re: Fill A Purse Swap Round 4 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Munora on: April 28, 2009 06:43:31 AM
I received my package from Stitch81. It is all absolutely gorgeous. She tottally went above and beyond. Lot's of pics. I'm sorta detail oriented.

First is a pic of the whole package. As you can see the Reese package is half empty. Courtesy of my my children.

The book is a brag book. The picture on it was on my Wist list. The little sharpie's are so cute.

This is a close up of the fabric on the the two shopping bags. They fold up nice and fit perfect in my new bag.

This is a clutch, tampon/pad cozy, and a wallet. All are very nicely made.

These are some close ups of them.

This is the bag. It is so super cute and stylish. You just feel stylish wearing it. Maybe it's the fabric. It has Lot's of pockets that line the inside of the bag.

Thank you so so much Stitch81.  Grin

I made this last minute for my little girl. I used a pattern from Portabellopixie called Claire. I've had it for a while. Just got around to doing it. It was a very easy pattern and fun to make.

A beautiful tree picture just like one that I had on my wist list. I also received some book marks, a bird stamp, some pretty felt coasters, notecards and some paint in my favorite color. 6  Another Kitschy Coo pattern. Too cute (lots of pics) in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by Munora on: March 28, 2009 06:57:29 PM
I made this coat about a month ago. I just put the buttons on it today finally. I tested a boys coat pattern for Kitschy Coo. It came out beautiful. Could not be any cuter. Very easy. As is all of her patterns. The sizing was a little off. It came out a little big. But I'm sure that's fixed now. It's totally reversible. Which I love. He can wear the velour side to church and the elephant side out shopping and things.

This is my favorite side.

7  A nightie for my girl in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by Munora on: March 20, 2009 11:09:55 AM
My daughter spied this princess fabric in my fabric stash a few days ago and has not stopped asking for it since. She's 2, so she doesn't understand that it's just fabric until it's made into something. So I made a quick summer nightie to make her happy.

8  A gift for a pretty little birthday girl in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by Munora on: March 20, 2009 10:51:41 AM
First I made this dress out of some preshirred fabric that I bought at the end of the season last year on sale. Then I added a few things to make it even more girly. First I made the straps, then the ruffle at the bottom and the tie back bow around the middle. I'm happy with the results. It's a little big on my model. The little girl that I made it for is a little bigger than she is.

9  ipod cozies for my son and I in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Munora on: March 20, 2009 10:33:57 AM
My son bought a ipod touch a few weeks ago. After realizing how cool it was, I bought one for myself. So I thought I would make a couple cozies to store them in. This is the tutorial that I used http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/?p=740. Can you guess which one is mine?

10  Thank you Kitschy Coo in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by Munora on: March 06, 2009 05:43:50 PM
I won this swing top pattern from Kitschy Coo's blog. It's so fun and easy to make. It can be worn 4 diffrent ways. I only have buttons on one side for now. so I only took pics of two. Its black with small, white polka dots on the other side. I bribed her with a pop to let me take pics. If any one is interested in it. She has the pattern for sale in her Etsy shop.
