21  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / The Exorcist (and some other stuff)--Pic heavy on: March 02, 2008 06:08:54 PM
Here are a few more recently completed projects.  The MegaMan, Kirby and Link (Zelda) cross stitch patterns I stole from online sprite sites.

I made the three Kirbys for myself.

I made this one for my boyfriend

And the megaman (megamen?) cross stitch is a birthday gift for my oldest pal.

To make the Captain Howdy cross stitch, I shrunk a picture from online using Microsoft Photo Editor, and then imported it to MS Paint and enlarged it so I could count the pixels.  I counted them by hand!  Thankfully, I have since found a website that will make counted cross stitch designs for free!

Here it is in progress...

And here it is, completed.

I don't know why I have a Captain Howdy fixation!  I just love him!
22  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / NSFW pillowcase cover--first time poster! on: March 02, 2008 11:54:12 AM
Hello!  This is my first post--but I've been a long-time admirer...

I've only started cross stitch and embroidery--and I've been trying to practice some embroidery stitches.  This is my most recent completed embroidery project (perhaps not completely finished--I haven't decided what to put in the banner)

I found the picture of the couple (not the background) from a book on art-erotica.  I wanted to portray a positive and beautifu sexual experience--to show that the couple is most definitely having fun!

Suggestions for improvement encouraged!
