I used mod-podge as the prep substance. They haven't been messed up by rain yet!

5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: Advertising your Etsy shop! on: October 02, 2006 05:01:26 PM
I don't have an etsy shop... yet... but I think if you have a great name AND logo that's the first step in successful advertising.

Thanks for the feedback ladies!

Was the tissue paper free?[/b]- It sure was, and so were the free samples!  If you ask they will just give a huge stack of the tissue paper.  I had enough left over to mod pdge a white plastic beaded matching necklace.
Was it sticky afterward?-  Not at all. I let them dry overnight.  I have found that the thinner the coat of mod podge you use, the less sticky it wil be.. Mine aren't sticky at all.

I think censorship is not cool, but I def. think it is necessary on craftster. I'm on another message board and it crashed because of people spamming.  I thave thought about it and I think it's fair censorship. If I have to deal with a few rules in order not to have porno ads in my face, that is a-o-k with me... and there is my two cents. Cheesy
9  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: "Picky" vegetarian needs new recipies! on: September 30, 2006 03:10:41 PM
My ex boyfriend was also a vegetarian allergic to onions and garlic... it did make it super hard to make anything that wasn't pre packaged.  Just make like huge casseroles and freeze the portions and reheat them.  That's what he did.
10  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Queso dip? on: September 30, 2006 03:08:32 PM
In Texas we make a totally white trash but tasty dip. It's just a block of velveeta cheese and a can of rotel. Can't get any cheaper/easier than that!
