1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Sweet Cherries Coaster on: March 24, 2009 06:27:06 PM
So cute for a summer picnic.  I can see this with a whole fruit theme of coasters and matching placemats.  Great job!

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Green Fuzzy Monster Baby Booties on: December 03, 2008 07:29:59 PM
I made these from this pattern here http://needyl.com/crochet/monster-baby-booty-pattern.  I used Moda Dea from the clearance rack at Hobby Lobby in this green color and Red Heart WW in the tan.  These were just for fun.  I'll probably try them in white next with a darker tan for more contrast on the sole and toes.

They were hard to photograph because most of the photos ended up like this.

That's Jack.

I should have tried to get a pic with him modeling them since he is my only baby.  Shocked)

5  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Frou Frou Frustration on: November 22, 2008 03:30:44 PM
I haven't made this but there is one correction here (http://www.knithappens.com/snbhh-errata.pdf) for this pattern that might be what you are referring to??  Hope it helps!
6  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / My first post with pics!! Fat bottom bag on: November 19, 2008 06:43:00 PM
I made this with Paton's SWS yarn and then lined it with a matching kitty cat fabric.  The handle was ad libbed by looking at some of the other bags posted on here.  It's my first purse and was really pretty simple to do.   Smiley

The pics aren't the best.  The purse has held up fairly well.  I've been using it for almost a year now.  It does tend to pill some and the handle stretched out some.  Overall it's great and really roomy.  I did make it a little larger than the pattern in the book by adding more rows.  I just want to thank everyone on here for inspiring me to try new projects.  Kiss
7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: No more poking needles in armrests ... an embroidery armrest organizer on: November 19, 2008 06:35:55 PM
I agree that things should be functional AND pretty.  I had a few accidents from needles I stuck in the couch cushions and then forgot about.  I definitely need one of these.
8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Elephant Bib on: November 19, 2008 06:32:52 PM
That's so cute.  I just bought a bunch of bibs with the plan to spruce them up.  I usually crochet but now I'm thinking of doing some needlepoint on them instead.  Thanks for the inspiration.
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Lattice Crochet hat, and free pattern on: November 19, 2008 06:16:49 PM
I love this hat!  I tried doing some cable stitches once and failed miserably.  I need to work up the courage to try it again.  I think matching mittens would be so cute but maybe a little too tricky.  The colors in your hat look gorgeous together. Smiley
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Rainbow Scarf with clouds **now with pattern-post#32 on: November 19, 2008 05:24:52 PM
This is next on my list of must make projects.  I love that everyone is so thrifty making their own stuff based on stuff at the stores.  This is perfect for using up that left over yarn too! Smiley
