I need a really good picture tutorial...

Thank You in advance
12  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Flipping Tote Handle on: July 23, 2008 07:36:52 PM
Is there an easier way to make a handle for a Tote without needing to flip it? It takes forever to flip the fabric and it's very irritating!

15  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Getting Ready for Back-to-School on: July 23, 2008 06:20:40 PM
Well, I've been bored babysitting my little sis so I decided to do some Arts & Crafts. I decoupaged my calculator with cut outs from magazines that I probably won't read anymore. I used elmer's glue. I think that it turned out quite well- what do you guys think?

16  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Flower Keychain on: July 23, 2008 06:08:22 PM
I think this is the best flower I've ever made! I just bought the fabric yesterday and I didn't want to start any big projects. I'm gonna use it on my backpack for school- it's gonna look so cute! Don't you love flowers?

17  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Math can be fun, with a touch of style! on: July 23, 2008 06:02:39 PM
I got bored so I decided to make a little cozy for my scientific calculator...I added a little flower to it. The flower has velcro on the back, so I can remove it if I want to use it as a key chain!

18  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Nintendo DS Mini Messenger Bag on: July 23, 2008 11:30:34 AM
Well, I got a new sewing machine and I wanted a little challenge. So I decided to make a MINI messenger bag for my little sister's DS. I used two tutorials:

Sorry I only have one pic...I though that I did a terrible job on the lining XD None of the tutorials explained how to do the lining so there you go.

19  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Flower Stuffie! on: July 23, 2008 10:39:38 AM
Well, here's a flower stuffie that I made... It was originally supposed to be a pincushion but I don't want to stick needles into it. I didn't know what the "slip stitch" was, so I had to close the opening with my sewing machine. I stuffed it with scraps of fabric. It was my first try making a flower- what do you think?

Sorry for the blurry photos...they were taken from an iphone.

20  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / What is the "slip stitch"? on: July 22, 2008 03:24:27 PM
In the Flower Pincushion Tutorial: http://whipup.net/2006/03/01/stickin-it-to-the-pincushion/
They talked about using a "slip stitch" to close up the opening.
What is the slip stitch?

Once youre satisfied with the firmness of your pincushion, slip stitch the opening closed.
