i saw that it was sold out in black, which is of course the color i wanted to get it in...but i bet it would take dye well? dharmatrading.com has some great and easy dyes, or even rit dye if its just a small bit of trim. thanks again for info, i am going to order some and try dying it!

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / cutest PJ pants - not hard to make? on: January 31, 2006 09:33:20 AM
hi, i am not the greatest at sewing, but i saw these CUTE PJ pants in anthropologie this weekend. and i thought they would not be too hard to make. even some cute vintage sheets could be made into these pants, with the trim and everything, they are adorable.

any ideas?

5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / selling your items wholesale on: January 31, 2006 09:10:44 AM
hello-

i have a bunch of items that i would like to start selling to boutiques wholesale. i did a search and read thru some other posts from a while back - but i would love some fresh info if anyone is willing. i see that most people ask for 100% of the cost up front when taking wholesale orders. and do you include shipping in that? in other words does the buyer pay for the shipping?

do you have certain times when you take wholesale orders, like once a month, or once every 3 months? or do you take orders and fill at any time?

i would love just a download on wholesale from anyone who's been doing it for a while. how you figure wholesale prices, anything really that you think someone new to this should know?

thanks!!

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / where can i find round flat discs for earrings? on: April 10, 2005 01:47:16 PM
i'm looking for flat round discs (maybe 1" or more in diameter) that are light enough, and thin enough to use for earrings. i'd consider wood (that i could paint) aluminum (or some other light metal) or even shell. has anyone seen these around or online? i'm desperately looking.

thanks.

here's an illustration of what i'm looking for. any color would do, i'd paint it.

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / simple and large size metal purse frames? on: December 30, 2004 04:54:22 PM
i'm looking for simple metal purse frames. i can only find those that have embellishments. i am also looking for extra large size purse frames, thicker metal and more than12" long? i know they exist...but i can't find them. any ideas?

thanks!!
