11  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Team Edward Shirts (and an Alice necklace) on: August 03, 2008 02:04:53 PM
I made two freezer paper shirts to show my support for the hottest vampire around. I wore the red one to the midnight book release for Breaking Dawn. If you haven't read Twilight I suggest you do.

This is the back of the shirt I wore to the book release. It says, "Eternal damnation never looked so sparkly."

The front. Totally Team Edward.

One more Edward shirt because one is never enough.

This is modeled after Alice's necklace in the Twilight movie. I know it's not book canon, but it was cute looking. I used paper mache and acrylic paint. Thanks for looking!
12  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Team Edward Bags!!! on: June 07, 2008 02:09:41 PM
I've managed to spread my obsession/love for Twilight to some friends. In anticipation for the next book my bestest and I made some bags to show our undying support for the hottest immortal around. Hers in the black one and mine is the dark blue one. I made mine. We used freezer paper and paint and we love our awesome bags of awesomeness.

Edward is so hot... he's making me sexist.
13  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Photo bracelet on: May 08, 2008 11:08:06 PM
I took photography this semester and one of my friends couldn't. She was really bummed because she probably won't get a chance to take photo again, even though she loves it, because she's not majoring in it. So I decided to mesh my jewelry making skills with the leftovers in photo, and this is what I got. I plan on making another one for another good friend I have who also loves photo, but won't be pursuing it.

So I used the circle thingys (technical term ya know) that come off the film canisters and the spool that the film is on. I'm not super happy about how this came out, but I just wanted to make something to remind her of photo.

Anyway, tell me what you think!
14  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / What to wear to Rocky Horror? on: February 26, 2008 06:52:06 PM
I've never been to a live performance and I'm going to one next week so I have no idea what to wear. I haven't seen the movie either so I don't know any of the characters. I do know that when my friends have gone before they've worn fishnets, short skirts and skimpy tops.

I just want some advice about what to wear.

I have a lot of stuff to work with.
-purple corset and skirt that matches
-regular fishnets and some geometric looking kinds
-pink, blue, gray and purple fishnets
-tons of tank tops and tube tops
-tons of black skirts, one animal print skirt
-mini top hat (white)
-mini tricorns (like in Marie Antoinette) purple and blue
and lots of other stuff.

So any advice would be welcome.
