1  Mario Brothers Boo Pouch in Crochet: Completed Projects by crazy wazy on: February 08, 2013 05:15:52 PM
Hi everyone! This is my latest project! The Super Mario Brothers Boo Pouch!

My friend absolutely loves the character Boo, so I decided to make this for her as a birthday gift. I jumped on the Tunisian Crochet bandwagon, and used the basic stitch to make the pouch. The red border is two rows of single crochet.

Yarn: Vanna's choice, 100% acrylic
Dimensions:  height - 6"; length - 10"
The pouch is lined in red with a blue zipper.

Let me know what you think!

She sent me a citrus ginger scrub (which seems really orangey... kinda like Tang...), lip balm (which smells like.... bubblegum?), beads with little stars on them, and some tea! Thanks so much!

I got my package a few days ago (but I was out of town), so I just opened them today!

erinrosemary sent me yardstick cookies, which are these cripsy, buttery, almondy, and sweet cookie. She also sent me a very cute pot holder!

Unfortunately, I think my package was lost.  Undecided Or majorly delayed. Hopefully it'll turn up?!

The box was so prettily decorated!

Upon opening, there was a denim messenger bag on top. The messenger bag's straps are tied so they can be adjusted! I use it today to go to class!

Beneath the messenger bag:

Inside there were all these edible goodies: starbucks chocolate, oreo minis, Celestial Tension tamer tea, and this delicious home made Chai tea mix! I've never had chai like this before and its soo good!

Some yarn, pens, and fall themed post its

A wonderful necklace

And finally, this really beauitful forest green box with trees on it

Inside the box were... HOME MADE STAMPS (trees, pinecones, leaves)!! There was also ink for the stamps and a leaf shape puncher.

I love everything! Now I'm off to make some chai tea!!

I received my package from colorfigment the other day and it's amazing! We do completely different crafts, so it was really cool how we were able to make things we normally couldn't make for each other!

The package all prettily wrapped:

Inside the pink package:

Two awesome shirts that were screenprinted (?)! I adore the two different designs because it's not all cutesy and such.

The box and the other pink package:

A painted box and chocolate!

Inside the box:

I blurred out the rest of my name. More candy! And...

Adorable cards! I don't want to use them!

Thanks again colorfigment!

Soo... I received today from imafundork! She absolutely spoiled me! She really captured the spirit of the swap and sent me so many things that I just love!

Picture of everything:

Stuff in the picture:
Two velcroed pouches, four skeins of yarn (2 different types), a cute journal/notebook, matching cards, post-its, knitting needles, twix (yay chocolate! unfortunately, due to the recent heat wave in southern california, the chocolate was all melted, but the freezer fixed that right up!), cookie cutters (one star, one heart), four film holder things full of surprises, gum, mints, a heart pin, and a purple bookmark

Pouch 1:

This pouch was a mini learn to make yo-yo's kit. Included are buttons, fabric, instrutions, and needles. How awesome!

Pouch 2:

A mini-spa kit! This had three lip glosses (from Mark! I was in need of good lipgloss, and finally! Yay!), nail files, a mini towel (which a cute border that imafundork sewed on), a salt scrub, a make-up remover thing, and a body buffer).

Stuff in the film holder things:

BEADS! Seed beads, big beads, STAR BEADS! Ahh!

Thank you soo much imafundork! Your package should be completed soon (hopefully at the level of the package you just sent me!)

I received an awesome diy messenger bag kit today from Catrinau!

Included in the kit: canvas material for the outside (I love the dots), fabric for the lining, thread that matches the color scheme, needles, velcro, patterns with freezer paper (I think), and a cute little notebook with plenty of details. I can't wait to start sewing!
