1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Dinosaur Dress on: July 11, 2011 03:54:58 PM
A older lady at work has a granddaughter who loves Dinosaur! The other grandmother doesn't approve her of her granddaughter wearing boy shirts. Saying that little girls shouldn't wear boys clothing.. Dinosaurs are hard to find on girls clothes. So i offered to make her a cute little dress to show that dinosaurs are girly! Smiley

This is what I came up with: (Inspired by: frecklesinoureyes, https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=372527.0)

Thanks for looking! Comments and Opinions are welcome!

2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / JOURNAL SWAP on: January 15, 2011 03:34:28 PM
I think someone should put together a swap like this.

Ours would be less in depth and we wouldnt fill just one journal.

Like each person would buy a journal fill a page and then pass it on.. or even if they have a journal started.. ect. Then whenever someone receives a journal they will fill a page and pass it on to the next person, and until the journal comes to first person again. I think it would be a awesome idea. This would have to be something that would go on for a few months. Smiley

I wouldn't want to organize it though! I would LOVE to do something like this though!!

8  COOKING / Dessert / Strawberry Delight Pie, THOUGHTS on: March 15, 2009 07:55:13 AM
I just got a new recipe book. Can you believe they make a recipe book called "The Starving Student Cookbook"... well they do. LOL I got it because I need to start eating at home more often with simple/quick recipes. So here is what I'm trying today.. it's called Strawberry Delight Pie. I will post some pictures here in a bit. Tell me if you think it sound good.

- 3 - ounce package STRAWBERRY GELATIN
- 8-ounce carton small curd COTTAGE CHEESE
- 1 BANANA sliced

step 1: dissolve gelatin in boiling water in large bowl. Stir 3 minutes. Add ice cubes and sir 2 more minutes. (gelatin will start to get thick) Remove excess ice cubes.

step 2: add cottage cheese and stir well to blend.

step 3: lay banana slices in bottom of pie crust. Spoon gelatin mix over bananas and chill 1 hour before cutting.

I'm making this for my boyfriend.. will not try it until tonight. Smiley Tell me if you have heard of anything like this before because the thought of cottage cheese kinda scares me, or if you think it will be any good.

That was just fun.. now it gets kinda hard to figure out what to put on them. This is the card I made him this year. I love IT! Tell me what you think
