1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / pattern for infant dress on: June 17, 2009 04:40:39 PM
hi. i've been making some really basic sun dresses for infants, but i think i'm making them to small... at least in the ribcage area (as it wouldn't fit over my 7-week-old).
do you know of a place i kind find either a pattern or measurements for typical infant sizing?

for any dress style?

i will measure my babe to fit her to size, however, i'd like to make some for 9 months+, too.

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / best fabric for exterior lining of hobo-ish tote bag on: October 09, 2008 07:11:34 AM
hi. in your opinion, what's the best material to use for the exterior lining of a bag----denim-ish?
i don't want to use a denim color, so maybe canvas or something? for the interior, i bought a nice cotton print.

also, should i purchase an interface to line bag with? i just learned of interfacing this morning Smiley
any guidance would be much appreciated. thanks.
