21  Scrubbing Bubbles Amigurumi in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by littlefawnpug on: November 07, 2013 11:09:33 AM
I made these in the ows swap recently.  They were one of those projects that you cant stop giggling when you make them.  You know the ones....silly to make but also very fun to make.  Anyways....I havent posted a project in awhile, so thought Id start with these. (please excuse the dust in the background.)

Whoo!  I am on the ball this morning I have the last of my pictures uploaded and Im ready to show off my lovely crafted items from this round.  Thanks ladies for the claims!  Alright picture # 1 is a pug themed kindle case from Watsonc7.  It has a velcro closer and soft lining.  And its a perfect fit too.  I also like how she added the little heart above the pug.

I also received from jo_mama too this round.  She claimed me for pug wall art.  Its perfect and exactly what i had visioned.  Its not hanging on the wall yet though, as I want to put it in one of those thick frames first.

I received from Averia yesterday.  Oh man!  She was so incredibly generous.  I really appreciate your kindness with the supplies.  This year for Xmas we are trying to save $ so, I will be making our realitives gifts using yarn from my stash.  So, all of the yarn Averia sent will be put to good use.  Thank you so much!

Alright first off is the yarn.  So much lovely yarn!  Look look at it all!  Theres a rainbow of colors for anything I want to make for our realitives.  She also included some red fabric too which is under the yarn to the left of the picture.  Its red and soft and will be used to make some clothes for my dog.  I'm thinking some red pajamas and a hoodie.  Smiley

Next is the knitting and crochet notions.  She sent hooks, needles and some stitch holders.

She also sent some Halloween trinkets, pencils, fake spiders and ect. for the kiddo for our little Halloween party we have every year.  We home school, so it makes it extra fun for us to dress up in costumes and play games for half of the day.  But I didn't get a picture of those items.  The kiddo came in the room to check out my goodies so i had to put the bag with those items on top of the shelf quickly.  Smiley  Anyways, thank you so much Averia, you have no idea how happy this supply package has made me.  Even the kiddo was saying how awesome it was of you to send all these items.  Hes totally into yarn too because he is always picking out yarns for me to make him things.  LOL.

Edit-I'll take a photo of the halloween goodies tomorrow.

I have been so slow with pictures lately.  So sorry about that.  Anyways, without further ado my claim from spikefan.  She claimed me for some number stitch markers and as an extra she made me a mug rug!  The stitch markers are perfect for my knitting and the mug rug is so cool.  Its my very first mug rug ever!  Thank you spikefan!

mama24boyz-the crochet picture of Lana is amazing.  Tell me, how many hours did it take you to do?  Ive seen other photos crochet like that and it just looks so time consuming to do.  I wouldnt have the patience to do something like that-I get bored doing granny squares.

P_E_S_T-I love those knit sea creatures!  I have a book that has all those patterns in it.  I soooo want to make an item in the book.  I started-but they are so complicated.  After I make more socks, I must give that knit amigurumi another try.

I made a ton of dog toys yesterday!  I added squeakers in them too.  Made from old blue jeans material so its extra dureable for big dogs and soft for small dogs.  Plus, it helps reduce landfill rubbish since I re-used the jeans.

I recieved from underthemountain last week.  She claimed me for sock yarn and old spoons.  The spoons look so vintage-they will make great jewelry.  And the sock yarn-so pretty!  No one ever told me that sock yarn and sock knitting would be this addicting.  I think making socks is my favorite thing to knit.  And the sock yarn-the stipes-gorgeous!

The mail man plopped a box from GlassKicker on our door step today.  And such a lovely package indeed.  I have to say I really appreciate the kindness of a Craftster member.  Sometimes I start to loose my faith in society-but then theres all these great people on Craftster that show some extra kindness and it really does make the world a better place.

Anyways, GlassKicker claimed me for supplies.  And she really showed the love in this package.  She made a special glass wall decoration and on it is a picture of my little Pug.  Its so wonderful.  Its going to go in my craft room so I can stare at it while I craft and do home school.  She also sent me cotton yarn, emboridery hoops, the stone pieces so i can make some coasters, bone blanks and metal stamps-hooray!  Now i can customize a dog tag for my Pug and one for my sisters sweet little mutt.  And as an extra item she sent me the book Pug Hill!  Thanks again GlassKicker, you lovely lady you!

The whole package:

I made a bow tie for my dog today.  After my Grandpa passed away, my mom and uncles went and divided all his things.  After dividing everything they still had his closet of clothes untouched.  My oldest uncle said I could have any of his clothes.  Well,I snagged them all.  I didnt have the heart to see them go to Goodwill.  Anyways, my hubby wears some of the clothes.  The ties I had in a special old metal military box of his.  Today-I decided I needed to enjoy one instead of keeping them in my little tin box.  So,  I made a bow tie for my little Pug.  I am so happy that I made it right on the first try-I was afraid I would mess up a memento of my Grandpas.  But, nope-I succeded and now I can enjoy seeing the tie being used.
