This is awesome, I love your style.  What materials are you using? You're able to get such fine details and bright colors!

Fantastic!  I love Tero's idea, but I think it would be perfect for a soap dish - those things get so disgusting anyway.  Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see more!
5  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Discussion and Questions / Re: Why does this happen and how can I stop it? on: June 18, 2009 03:08:00 PM
Eapa is on the right track. High gloss glazes tend to run more than matte ones.  The problem is when you apply them more thickly.  Typically, you want to avoid more than 2 layers of glaze, go down to one dip (with painting or stenciling, etc if you want some more details) and if you are still having problems with just one layer, water the glaze down some more, make sure it is thoroughly mixed and try again.

I love these! The corduroy moose especially.  I think they look way classier than the 'real thing'
Nice work!
8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: HELP! Making fiberglass parts inside of plaster molds. on: February 03, 2009 05:18:35 PM
In my sculpture class, we use Murphy's oil soap.  Brush a thin coat onto the plaster at full concentration.  I don't know how this would work with resin, but it might be worth a shot.

I say finish it, especially if it's for a portfolio.  Scan it when you're done and fix the crack in photoshop since you don't use the originals in most portfolios anyway.  Looks great - cooler than the picture it's from.
