Very cute! What did you use for the pineapple base?

Thank you! I just used a small piece of stiffened felt! Smiley

I have become even more obsessed with pineapples lately {pineapple has been on my tattoo wishlist for awhile}. Pineapples and all. gold. everything. So I made this sparkly little number.
*fun fact: I traced a pattern from Sublime Stitching to make the pendant*

When I saw something similar on I immediately wanted to make this pom-pom planter. The rainbow of colors makes me so happy!  Grin I am brand new to plants, but I'm hoping to find a pretty succulent for it.
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / "Cute? He's the reason faces were invented! You idiot!" on: March 25, 2017 08:11:32 PM
My brother and his wife came to visit from back home in Pennsylvania, and I met my niece, Estelle (Stella) Louise, for the first time. As soon as I found out her middle name was going to be Louise, I wanted to make this. It's embroidered on paper, and I framed it in a $1 frame that I painted green (a little messily, I know).
She got a huge smile when I showed it to her, so I guess she likes it.   Grin

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Pretty Kitty ring dish. on: March 22, 2017 10:24:18 AM
What a great idea. I love the glitter too. Is it your rings are chunky or the cat is small? Sorry I just cant quite gauge the size

Thank you!
The rings are totally oversized. I only really wear tacky costume rings.  Cheesy
In the photo with all the rings, there are 3 on the tail, if that helps at all.

{I hope this is the right place to post, since it's not jewelry exactly}

I don't wear rings often, because I have a horrible habit of taking them off and leaving them places.  Sad
But I saw this idea on Pinterest, and it was love at first sight!

I love this so hard.

Inspired by Laura Gummerman's blog post on A Beautiful Mess.
I already had the tote & black letters. My Michael's didn't have the right trims, so I improvised a little.
Can't wait till it's warm enough for a beach day!

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Pearl Embellished Turtleneck on: February 23, 2017 02:18:21 PM
That's a really cool way to spruce up a turtleneck; the effect reminds me of studded leather.  Do you feel any discomfort from the beads on the arms if you rest your elbows/forearms on a hard surface?

I haven't worn it for an extended period of time yet (you're supposed to wait 7-10 days for the glue to cure), so I can't answer the "elbows on a hard surface" question -- although a few have already popped off, so I'll be careful with my elbows until I can reinforce them with thread.  Wink As for any discomfort, you can definitely feel the beads, but I didn't find it uncomfortable at all. Hope that helps!  Smiley
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Re: Flirty Birdie Bird Feeder on: February 23, 2017 02:12:25 PM
That's a very cool and unique design for a bird feeder.  How did you permanently attach the saucer and cup, glue, or some other means?  And what kinds of birds do you get in a lemon tree?

Thank you! I honestly don't know much about birds, but I saw the idea on Pinterest and fell in love, and the only trees we have are fruit trees.
I used both Hammer Head Quik Epoxy Steel & this stuff called Weldbond -- most tutorials I saw used Gorilla Glue or E6000, but these are what I had on hand. I used both "just to be safe", so hopefully they hold up! ☺️
